“Review is about service and not materials as they never arrived! Very dissatisfied as arranged a day for delivery and worked from home on specific date and despite a reassuring phone call which I made at lunch time, my delivery never occurred. If I never called to ask then I would still be sitting waiting as no call was ever made to me to confirm delivery not happening, order was then cancelled on my instruction as no suitable/ alternative could be agreed, poor service from a company that I once used almost daily,”

“Good prices for timber and a good selection however delivery was a day late and no communication from them, had to call them at the end of the day to find out what was happening with my delivery. Website is a bit confusing for sizes and quantities of certain items.”

“Ordering was straightforward and an approximate time window arranged. Late afternoon I called to check that the gravel would be delivered on time as time was short and was advised that the delivery truck was already on the road. Delivery driver was excellent - skillfully offloaded the gravel bags to a convenient location. Regarding the product - the pea gravel was very pea-gravelly ... I'm not an expert in the stuff ...”

“Everything about my first purchase was perfect and the delivery driver even carried the decking through to the back garden for my wife. I had to pick up a few other bits from the cumbernauld store and the staff were excellent.”

“Went into the shop on a Wednesday to buy 18 sheets of plasterboard with cash. The guy told me how much and said its £20 local delivery but wouldn't be till the following week. I told him it was only £10 delivery online, he said I know, everyone keeps telling me. I asked if it could go to £10 he said no. So I went and deposited the cash into my bank, went online and ordered the sheets, £10 delivery and got a 10% discount code. Items were scheduled to be delivered on Friday the same week. I was working that day so they delivered on Monday instead. Delivery guy was a polite young lad who slung it exactly where I asked him to put it. Moral of the story, don't go to the shop because its cheaper online...and quicker.”

“After our order was delivered to the wrong address and we only found out after we queried where the order was, Ross at the Alloa branch could not have been more helpful, he arranged for the local Beatson to collect the order and then deliver this to us. Will definitely buy other products from them.”

“The courier you used for my delivery was poor . Delivery was 2 days late and there was no communication from the courier company. Consequently I had to ring Beastons three times to chase my order.”

“Delivery was very good but why does one small tub come with a full sized pallet which the delivery company had to leave with me? A waste of a pallet and I now need to take my time to take it to a recycling centre! Very odd. Also the tub was quite badly damaged but fortunately contents were ok.”
