I like doing business with Traditions. I have been to the showroom and loved browsing all the great items they have. The people there are very helpful and know their product. The enthusiasm for beautiful things is contagious! Shipping is very fast and well packaged.

Sally I appreciate your concerns, so I took them to the artist who designs Francesca's Finial and she said that the hairline is exactly as she designed it, because it is rare to find anyone with a straight hairline. I hope this helps! Thank you for the compliments about our staff, product selection, speedy shipping and store!

Be careful when ordering as these are not the size you remember from family traditions. These are miniature. The size of almost all are under 2.5 inches tall, not 3 inches. They are apparently measuring the ornament height including the wire hanger loop and even including that most are under 3 inches tall. I was surprised.

Leslie, we receive 6 of the Jar of Peanut Butter ornament in a box of 6 pieces, there is no original box for this item.

So, I was confused on what to rate my experience. I love traditions the company. I received a broken ornament. It was corrected immediately, great service! One of the other things I ordered, was a set of Shiny Bright ornaments. I was so disappointed. These ornaments were stickered, not handpainted. Certainly not the quality I would expect from Traditions. Nothing in the description indicated that these were not painted ornaments. Not only am I disappointed, it makes me question buying anything else.

I hesitate to order because the shipping charges are so high. They usually almost double the price of the actual item. Many items are also mass produced in China which values quantity over quality. They copy a valid crafters design from other countries and proceed to manufacture it in the cheapest way possible. Their labels should read “stollen by China” and not “made in China”. I like many of your designers but when they turn over the production of their lines to some other entity the integrity of their product is lost.

I normally have a good experience with Traditions; however, this time it was just okay. My order got lost in the mail, and I understand this can happen from time to time. However, I do not think it is the buyer's responsibility to track down a missing package-that should be on the seller. I reached out multiple times about this and was brushed off and told this happens all the time, though it has never happened to me before. I finally gave up and filed a missing package report with USPS, and the package was found. Ordering and delivery should never be this stressful. You did return my shipping cost, but I felt customer service was lacking with this purchase.

Hi Marianne, We're so sorry about the wait and the unexpected long delivery! As stated during our conversation, we needed to wait 7 days before we could file a missing package claim / search request with USPS (the seventh day was on a Saturday and our support department does not file claims during the weekend). We certainly did not expect or want you to have to contact the carrier directly! Your package was insured and we would have sent out a replacement or refunded you in full if the package was truly lost. Unfortunately, we've had several similar cases over the last two months with USPS Ground Advantage shipments. Tracking / delivery can take over a week to update. Again, we apologize for the delay, and hope you will continue to shop with us. We really appreciate your business.

I received the items in a timely matter and they were packed so they were protected. The reason I am giving Traditions of 3 is that the items, though packed in bubble wrap, were not in the original boxes. This makes storing the ornamanets an issue. I have paid similar prices for similar items from other vendors and they all came in the original box.

The actual merchandise I purchased is fantastic, good quality, a 5 star. Shipping time was better than promised.. also a 5. I would not hesitate to purchase other items from Traditions, except for the packing materials used. At least in my state there is no way to recycle styrofoam casings and those packing peanuts so they will end up in the landfill. So as much as I might want to be a repeat customer, this is a deal breaker until and if Traditions can update the packing materials they use.

Cindy, we use recycled boxes, paper and tissue to stuff our boxes to protect items we are shipping. If we have to use packing peanuts, we only buy packing peanuts that are made out of cornstarch. You can literally eat them! They are 100% recyclable. We are and have been committed to helping preserve our environment for over 28 years. Our local customers even bring us their boxes and packing materials and we help reuse them.

My first time to buy from your company. However I have several things from the line from another store in Dallas & the change in quality is disappointing! My other pieces are several years old & I was excited to see this on line since my favorite store closed here. This piece while still cute was totally resin or whatever the material used except for the cheap ribbon. My other pieces were made of several materials which made them much softer In appearance & quality. I'm sure they are now from China. Also the mouth was not filled in which I did! I will shop another time but I'm hoping I'm not as disappointed. Thank you however for the fast delivery!

We understand how disappointing it can be when a manufacturer changes their process of creating products, Narsha. We wish we had control over that but we don't, we just sell the products in our store and on our website. We appreciate that you will give the line another try in the future!

Way too small for the price and lots of imperfections. I know maybe it's supposed to look rustic, antiquish.. but it just looks off. Returned it.

The black hanging lantern with orange insert and ghost deco, the cover does not stay on and keeps flopping to the side of the lantern. And the silvery-gray lantern with the witches on, the inside white panel flops to the inside and will not stay in place where it should. It leans over the rest of the inside panels. Not good pieces at all. I will not be ordering again. One out of 3 pieces was good. :(

I didn't want the protection for this item. Certainly not candles! Yet I was charged anyway. That's not right. I love the candles though.

The ornaments came without incident. When I was ordering them I was not happy in that when I applied my coupon discount the shipping went up. I tried several times and every time I tried coupon shipping went up. Was not impressed.

Hi Cheryl, So sorry to hear you had trouble with the coupon! Our shipping rates are directly from the carriers. Aside from the free shipping coupon, the shipping rates are not affected by, or tied to the discounts in any way. We just tried placing several test orders with your cart details and were not able to replicate what you experienced. We would be happy to apply the discount retroactively if you email us the coupon code you were trying to use. Thanks again for shopping with us & happy holidays!

My ornament arrived broken. Another was shipped promptly, although it was also broken... in the same place. I repaired the second one with super glue, and discovered it was clearly a manufacturing issue (original glue was visible and minimal and obviously didn't hold). I did notify Nathan of this discovery so that you could check your other stock. I would have preferred not to have to mail back the original ornament. It's a lot of trouble for a relatively low dollar item. A better experience would have been for you to forgive that instead of sending a highlighted "notice" to not only charge me for it but shipping as well. Issues like this are opportunities to cement customer relationships. In this case, I am not happy about having to repack the item and return it to the post office. Frankly, it seems hardly worth the trouble for you, much less me. I do appreciate being able to easily talk to a human in customer service. Nathan was friendly and helpful, but again, I regret that you did not just write off the original defective item.

Janet, We appreciate the time you took to write us the information about your shipment. I am Debi, the owner of Traditions and have been doing this 29 years. I am sorry that I didn't inform Nathan about the reason we bring broken/defective products back to us. We pick up the item(s) so that we can show the manufacturer what happens to their products upon shipping individually to customers. We are sorry for the extra effort on your part, but this is the only way we have determined that we can help our manufacturers create a better product that does not break during shipping. We actually do send the items that we retrieve from customers back to the vendor, at our expense, to help in the process of making better products. I hope this helps you understand that we are not trying to make it difficult for you, (that's why we include the paid for return label in your box) but just trying to make the products we carry at Traditions a better quality in the long run!
