C&B identified the ‘blurring’ I was experiencing was caused by scratches on the lens. Not deterioration of my vision which was very relieving.
The next pleasant surprise was when I discovered the lens had a two year guarantee so they’re being replaced without any quibble.
I find it’s always a pleasure to go to Clelland andBoyd, apart from being excellent opticians with a fabulous range of spectacular (!) frames they work as a team and make you feel lyou are the most important patient of the day

“I felt the assistant was very thorough, and not at all pushing me to upgrade my glasses. So I very different from my last experience when I didn't want to upgtade until my cataracts were done. I was just told very unkindly that I wasn't legal drive, and then she just assustNt walked away and left me, didn't as me how I would get home, offer to offer to arrange a taxi for me, an elderly woman in her late eighties, this was after my husband and I had spent thousands over the years as loyal customers buying the best upgrades every time. I felt really different with this lady, i highly recommend her skill and attitude towards me, and felt I would come back and heed her recommendations.”

“Simply the best opticians I have ever been with: there's no queue, their range of glasses is great with lots of fun styles and colours and they fit well. Eye tests are simple and comfortable (as much as they can be), while fitting is done with attention to wearing comfort. It's simple to make appointments and payment can be spread over months, interest-free. What's not to love?”

Thanks exceptional efforts of Susan the receptionist in the Broughty Ferry branch I managed to secure an appointment that day ! Issue sorted efficiently restoring discomfort-free vision.
