My brother who has a large portfolio of properties has always used CD and recommended them highly. Our case handler, Chris Prucharski was so approachable and always on hand to answer any questions or concerns I had especially given there had been very long delays from the lender side due to Covid, however Chris regularly kept in touch to keep me informed of progress and done his utmost to ensure the process was as seamless as possible. The degree of professionalism, helpfulness and effectiveness was outstanding. I would without question recommend and use them myself again in the future!

Had a glimmer of hope when estate agent gave them a nudge but nothing since.
Interestingly they don't respond to negative feedback either, only the good. What a surprise.

“I am not using their services directly, however they are slowing down my purchase as they are not providing the needed information and enquiries for the house the sellers are buying. It has now been over 4.5 months and they are still waiting on reports and enquiries. Moreover, nobody is answering the estate agents or the other party involved. Terrible service! I am very close to having to pull out of the deal as I must move in a month time...”
“Absolute shambles. Always looking to blame others and take no responsibility. Lacking any urgency at all. Reserved my house mid Jan. New Build, ready to move in to and I had no house to sell so should have been a 12 week process max. Here I am on week 16 and theyve just advised me they "hope to have me in by end of June", which would be 20 weeks. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.”
“Absolutely useless and incompetent at any type of conveyancing. Use a good old fashioned solicitor or conveyancer and get to buy the property you want rather than lose it because these people have been too slow and lack any urgency to respond and get a simple job done. On holiday, in the to do list, too busy blah blah blah”
“The purchaser of my property is using this company. No communication since 5th May and when my solicitor chased they denied they had refieved the email . Even though the email is correct. I was warned away from this company and I'm glad I did. The issue now is the buyer did.... poor communication further enhances the pressures of moving house. Sort yourselves out and think about how you resolve your communication issues....”
“Pretty awful 'sausage factory' legal firm (in my opinion)
Our case handler was obviously pretty inexperienced and wasted a lot of time. One example is that we were put through a CREDAS (money laundering) check, which took a week and was completely unnecessary. We were eventually told (by them) that we could have paid our current lender direct and avoided the whole thing. I estimate we lost about £500 because we slipped off our fixed rate while they dithered.
Also, they do checks etc one after the other, when they could be doing them together. Complete waste of time.
Never had an experience like this with a conveyancer before.
Not recommended at all.”
