“The StEval Orange and cinnamon candles I ordered were / are lovely. The have a nice aroma but not overpowering. I would recommend them. What I would not recommend is making contact with The Cotswold Candle Hut and expecting a reply! I made my purchase and 30 seconds later I emailed for a request but no reply until a request for review. You pays your money.”

“Goods damaged and sub standard quality. No response after 6 requests for a returns note. Something seriously bad going on with this retailer, so I’d advise to avoid buying from them.”

“Awful service. Tried to return candles (they only accept returns if you email in advance). 3 emails and 3 weeks later I am unable to return unwanted part of order. Dreadful. Do not buy from here.”

“Excellent service from Cotswold Candle Hut. I had read one or two unfavourable reviews of this company & was slightly wary of ordering from them as a result. However, I'm glad that I did as my order was despatched within hours of being confirmed & subsequently arrived via Royal Mail two days later. Everything was correct & I would definitely be more than happy to purchase from them again in the future.”

“I have bought your candles before, from a London retailer. Now I am in the provinces I need an on-line connection, and it couldn't have been easier. Your St Eval 'Winter Thyme' candles are just bliss for the Yule season. I had your tea lights last year, and your candles in tins for this year. They all smell lovely. I am also going to try your 'Embers' range, in some little candles for Hallowe'en. Thank you.”

“Candle was delivered promptly & is very pretty, however the scent is non existent! It smells like a very old candle that once had a scent but has been in a cupboard so long it’s lost it!!! I left it burning for three hours, before a family visit & no one noticed any scent! Very disappointing as I had thought it would be lovely for Christmas. Pretty but not worth the price with zero scent!”

“My order arrived smashed in the post; I’ve since emails the orders and enquiries email addresses, left an Instagram message and filled out a contact us form on the website and heard nothing back?! The issue still hasn’t been solved. So unfortunately my review isn’t a good one which is a shame for a company that seem to have such beautiful products in their website. At this moment in time I wouldn’t trust to order again or recommend to friends or family.”
