“Under no circumstances order anything from this company.They are scammers!I ordered 4 St Eval candles at the end of July which did not arrive.No despatch date given and no reply from customer service, just silence.Tried many times to get a response but nothing.Finally,resorted to PayPal and got a refund.Do not order!You have been warned!”

“Ordered St Eval candles several weeks ago - no idea when a delivery will be and ZERO response from customer service dept. Will be contacting bank as this is fraudulent behaviour taking payment and not delivering goods in timeline advertised with no explanation for delay.”

“The cost of delivery was 25% of the cost of the product. No delivery infomation once the order was placed and it took 2 weeks until the product was delivered. There was no way to contact anyone at candlehut to find out when the product would be delivered. I wouldnt order from them again.”

“I ordered two St Eval candle tins at a competitive price. I paid £4.95 for shipping, advertised as "between 5-7 days". I received a confirmation email for my order. After not receiving my order in 7 days, I emailed customer services, but didn't receive a reply. After 14 days, I emailed again and DM'ed on Instagram, and still did not receive a reply. My order was finally delivered in 17 days. I appreciate there was a bank holiday in the middle of this, but I would've expected a response to my emails. Overall, although my order was eventually received, I had a poor customer experience and next time I will buy direct from St Eval. I cannot recommend this business. Also whilst it's nice to be asked to leave a review, I note that reviews aren't posted on your website. If they were, I would've been forewarned as I see others have had a similar experience.”

“Dreadful customer service. Actually non existent customer service. Delivery was weeks and weeks overdue. No communication from them after many attempts from me to find out where my order was. The candle was nice but I will never use this company again!”

“Had to contact as candle not delivered they then delivered one of two candles had to repeat process to receive second candle. However candles st eval candles are lovely but let down by service will order direct from st eval instead”

“The bay and rosemary reed diffuser is gorgeous and I purchase this regularly from other suppliers. This was my first purchase from Cotswold Candle Hut. My only issue was the delivery time. It took a week to arrive which was disappointing and would prevent me purchasing again.”

“Website is nice and it’s easy to order. See I e though is shocking. Product said 5-7 days. I got no despatch notification or anything so I started chasing after 7 days and got not replies to anything. Took me multiple attempts at filling forms in, emailing, and in the end I raised a claim with my bank as I’d heard nothing. Eventually after days of chasing I got a reply and they sent the product. I would not buy again as I can’t deal with such awful service.”

“Absolutely terrible experience. Terrible communication about my delayed order, kept telling me it was going to be posted when it wasn’t. I finally asked to cancel the order, twice, then it got posted out, when I’d already ordered from elsewhere. I never leave reviews but this was the worst experience I’ve had online shopping. I work for a small company so I understand delays, but at least communicate with the customer clearly about what’s happening. I kept the candles in the end because I didn’t want to pay to return them, and St Eval candles are always lovely to have, but will never buy from your company again. Really disappointed”
