I've been trying to get a check from them for 6 months they say they keep sending it but never shows up. They are just lying another example of a horrible company

I don't really believe they are legal. Don't use any insurance that uses them. It means that the insurance has no value for their customers...

These guys are crooks written my car off without my knowledge or compensating me, never accept offer to look after your car from these crooks, I've lost 28k of the value of my vehicle because of these incompetent good for nothing insurers , and now they d9nt answer my messages although they told me it's a mistake but have not done anything STAY AWAY FROM THESE GUYS ONLY ACCEPT YOUT INSURER OR A 3RD PARTY CLAIM COMPANY T9 DEAL WITH THE CLAIM

AVOID ANY INSURANCE POLICY THAT USES THIS CLAIMS HANDLER! Appalling company, same experiences as other reviewers. 5 months still waiting on a claim, no resolution yet. Online claim submission tool is junk, totally useless for submitting any level of detail, which means you have to follow up with several emails with documents attached, which then get 'lost'. Endless promises of call-backs and email replies, often waiting weeks, claims seem to be constantly passed between different agents who never read any notes or detail on the claim. Result is you go around in circles being asked the same questions, providing the same information, over and over again and never get a resolution. If your insurer uses this claim handler, save yourself a world of pain and go elsewhere.

Just awful. You are shuttled endlessly between a dozen assessors, contractors, approvers etc as they do nothing themselves and insist on repeatedly re-approving every steps, with weeks of delays at every turn. They never EVER communicate, even when they need details from you, so you have to phone them weekly just to make sure they are doing something. I get the strong impression they deliberately wait until chased to make any progress at any point. Lots of stupid delays, such as claiming not to have bank details even when replying to an email in which you sent them your bank details. At one point it looked like they were actually appointing a contractor to do something after months of repeated assessments, only to be told the contractor had decided not to do it and therefore they would have to start the entire process from scratch and would not start for many more months

Incompetent and useless company. Two years of dealing with our subsidence case where we received bunch of falsified reports and unrealistic statements. Nothing has been done, nothing corrected, no assessment made. All decision made based on one image taken over two years ago. Very corrupted and unreliable organisation

TOTALLY INCOMPETENT company....Took 49minutes on hold to get thru' to them..and this was a successful day with them! Our flood happened in JANUARY 2023 and STLL WAITING FOR adjuster who EARLIEST date to visit home is APRIL 25,2024!!! thank god I got drier company out myself.. but as for the rest..no contact..all scripted calls no personal service..basically SLOW SLOW SLOW and HORRIBLE DEF STRESSFUL..cannot say enought about their LACK of care...

my mom passed away and there is no estate. After paying an assistant to file all the claim so there were NO mistakes I asked for a check to be sent to her trust. My mom had no asssets and the was NO estate opened. The kept sending checks in the ESTATE OF that could not be deposited. They never sent the letter that needed to be notarized to have it changed. After saying I would call the insurance commission they sent the letter. I fed ex'd it back, received a phone call saying they would be re issued. My mom;s lawyer sent a copy of the trust and a long letter stating there was NO ESTATE. I just opened the mail and the check was made out the same way. They don;t want to give me money that is due to my deceased mom to help pay towards he end of life. They are a discrace

This is frustrating because we can’t get an answer on anything on long-term care. My father has had this for years. I am POA and they just keep stalling stalling stalling. PS, we have documentation.

Just awful. Claim for flood damage was made 10/7/2023. Finally the floor was replaced 19/12/2023. Kitchen floor replaced March 2024. Some of my emails were not answered and no one made contact to see how we were coping in what was an extremely distressing situation. When photo evidence was sent regarding fungus growing through damp floorboards, we received no answer. Shocking!

Avoid with all cost. Bought Landlord insurance trough Swinton insurance and now dealing with one aro underwriter ane davis claims department and insurance company Allied world himself. Two months still can not do any works after escape of water as they all have lack of communication. Raised complaint but same story they all passing to each other. Avoid at all costs better go straight to insurance provider. Policy nr :WPP591560274. Claim ref:17871316937. Event forwarded all emails to them so they can see each other but not helping. Finally after two moths chasing and calling to all of them received outcome from Davis claims offering some cost to cover refurbishment but only after refurbisments done. It's a joke right, quotes i received from builders expired after month becouse of delays caused by all of them they offered lowest sum but refurbishment company can not offer same quote as expired they can only offer new on which is £1000 higher now. . And they offered to pay only after refurbisment done and twice les than cost. I never ever have so much stress in my life plus losing the tenant as can't do any refurbishment until they confirmet i can and they cover all costs. Not for busines, not for people. Companys like this called scammers. Will take this matter further to FOS or if needed to court.

I called the Davies group regarding my holiday let property which suffered a leak. From the second I called them, they were understanding and very professional from the get go. 10/10 special thanks to Declan who kept me updated with all aspects of my claim

Wanted to give zero stars but wouldn't let me. For you own sanity do not go with Saga because they use this not fit for purpose company. Takes your money and even with a serious repair job like tiles missing from roof due to storm damage 21st Dec nothing been done.

Absolute joke. Reported my car been on fire on 27 Jan2024, still no response. Everyday I’m calling for two and half hours and then they put the phone down. Police been asking me when can I remove the car as it’s a safety hazard. Got through to one person and they said 2 files open and put me on hold again before ending the call. No courtesy car no compensation. Fake phone numbers fake company

They cancelled my insurance after I forgot to pay and made me go through a complicated appeal application. They said most are reinstated and told me not to worry and then cancelled me after 17 years of on-time payments. Horrible and uncaring company. Don’t believe a word they say.

Darren Robb doesn’t return our calls. Promised numerous times to sort out our flooded property. We have been out our house since 15/12/2022 after the water tank burst. We are pensioners 76 and 77 no way to treat anyone!!

I can only conclude this is a company who are struggling; either that or they have a complete ignorance of, or disregard to ethical business practice. My experience has been one of stress, frustration and financial loss simply caused by their lack of communication. They proved themselves to be quite engaging while they wanted something from me but once they got that and it then came to me wanting a reasonable enquiry answered by them (which they promised me) and payment, they went quiet and then even quieter still. They have failed to answer my communications, they have failed to address my reminders, they have failed to respond to and address my formal complaint (leaving themselves well outside of regulatory timeframes) and they have failed to acknowledge and respond to my Data Subject Access Request (placing themselves at serious risk of breach of GDPR and UK Data Protection laws). Each communication written to them has received an automated system generated response which confirms the business has received each one I have sent. All of this has been ongoing for 4 months now and I have reached the stage of wondering whether they actually have any claims or complaints handling staff in their business? Having given them good warning of my intended actions if they continued to ignore my communications, I have now reported their conduct to The Financial Conduct Authority, The Information Commissioners Office and their Board of Directors. In addition I have proceeded to leave reviews on various relevant platforms relating my experiences and should anyone else have similar experiences of Davies Group (I can’t believe I’m alone here), I would strongly suggest you consider a similar course of action.

Davies Group are SO BAD!!! It’s been almost 2 years since I made a claim for storm damage where my window had came in and water ruined my kitchen floor and walls. Darren Robb came and tore of my kick-boards, he left them misaligned and when I opened my dishwasher they cracked the door and kick-board. Absolutely devastating and Urban Jungle didn’t even help, what a scam - there should be more regulations are insurers.

Horrendous insurance company. My vehicle was hit by another driver on the 9th October 2023, it’s now the 1st January 2024, the car is still sat outside my house, unusable. The communication and customer care is non existent, disgusting in fact. I have now had to make an official complaint, and will now have to wait another 8 weeks before involving the financial ombudsman. Stay well clear of this company, they’re an absolute disgrace.
