“Very confusing to setup also needs internet connection not always easy to find free WiFi everywhere. We also had to order new physical SIM card on our return to uk as apparently when deleting e sim we deleted our physical e sim ,
However now that we’ve gone through the usage next time it will be much easier process otherwise I would recommend as it saves the needs to buy local physical SIM card etc and I guess it can be cheaper with e sim”
Hi Steve, we are sorry you did not have a great experience. Coverage in these destinations can be patchy, which is why we have partnered with 4 networks in the Canary Islands (Movistar, Orange, Vodafone, Yoigo). It's a shame you did not contact our support, where we would have asked you to manually select another network. We hope you will try us again when you next travel.
“- Turkey: easySim worked great. Just like a normal, local SIM card
- Philippines: Didn’t work at all, had to refund
- Vietnam: Some serious network coverage issues (no service on Phu Quoc) and very slow 4G in most of the other places… easySim should change the local service provider in Vietnam
- Malaysia: Coverage and speed were ok, but sometimes the speed was very, very slow”
