“Easy Sim was a good price. Buying it was fairly straightforward. The video instructions for installing it on your phone are clear. My experience of using the Easy SIM hasn't been great to be honest. It just doesn't provide a reliable connection to the internet at all. On the first day of my holiday in Budapest, I had to get to a tourist desk to validate a travel ticket. I was relying on the Easy SIM WiFi connection to guide me via Google Maps, to the nearest tourist desk. I could get no internet connection at all. I kept switching both the mobile data then the Easy SIM off and on again, but could get no connection. I had to rely on finding a nearby free WiFi connection to direct me! This happened throughout my holiday. I had to rely nearby WiFi connections because to get a connection from Easy SIM was a lottery. To give you a metaphor, I was expecting the internet connection to work like a gas hob - you turn the switch and you immediately get gas. I've had an esim before and that's how it worked. Instead, I often turned the switch and got nothing! Was I doing anything wrong? I've got a Google Pixel 9 with an Android version 16 OS, so it should have been compatible.”
