“Easy to install and use.. Gave very good coverage as we traveled through Florida. Would love to have had some old-fashioned Telephone coverage though. This would have given me a 5* experience.”
“Bought the maximum data in Egypt so I could use my laptop a couple of times, unfortunately the connection and speed was terrible. Had to use the hotel WiFi.
Edit: the team reached out and resolved this issue very quickly, thank you. I wish I'd asked for help at the time as no doubt they'd have supported me.”
Hi Katie, thank you for your review and I am disappointed you did not have a great experience. I have checked our support platform and I cannot see any help requests from you which is a shame - I am sure we would have got to the bottom of any connectivity issues. It is really easy to ask for help - just tap 'Help' when signed in to your account. I can also see that you used 28GB of your data so I can only assume you had connection. I am going to contact you offline to find our more. Safe travels, Jim - easySim.
“Best support ever. Arrived in USA and had a problem. Soon sorted after we got WiFi access to contact directly - problem solved in minutes.
Support It doesn’t get any better than this… 101% recommend!!!!!”
“Very easy to install and saved a fortune over our supplier's roaming charge. Easy to check how much data you've used and a helpful email advising when uded 50%. Will use again for overseas trips.”
“I recently used an easy Sim while traveling abroad and I am extremely happy with the experience! Setting it up quick and hassle free no need to swap physical SIM card or visit a local store. The connection was fast and reliable, with great coverage everywhere I went.
One of the best parts didn’t cost a lot!”
“Purchased easy sim prior to a trip to Portugal. I received a confirmation email and assumed I was good to go. 2 days into my trip I received a text to say the easy sim was active. After my trip I discovered I had incurred charges for roaming as it took easy sim 4 days to activate. Doubt I’ll use this again.”
Hi David, thank you for your review and we are disappointed to hear you did not have the best experience. I can see you selected your eSIM for Mobile Data on the 23rd of February and that is when you started using data. Your eSIM was active throughout your stay in Portugal from the 23rd. We do recommend you switch off your Primary SIM while travelling and if you had done that, your home network provider could NOT charge you for roaming. In any event, I am going to contact you offline to find out more. Safe travels, Jim - easySim.
“Super easy to use. I used the video guides provided to set up my esim prio to travelling. When I landed in the USA, I simply switched my esim on/switched my UK sim off. Impressed.”
“Purchased for use in Portugal. After a car breakdown was unable to connect to the the local contact or the UK. After contact from Easysim I was mistaken and did not realise that you could not use the sim for mobile phone calls in Portugal and are for data only. On using the easysim for data, I had no problem and it worked fine. Now I know the limitations of the sim I would certainly use them again in Portugal. The company responded to my review very quickly and in a pleasant manner. I have only given four stars as the sim does not include making local calls, which I was not clear about on purchase. Otherwise it was a fairly easy process to purchase, activate and was competitively priced.”
Hi Graham, thank you for your review and I am sorry to hear about your car breakdown. I can see your eSIM was connected and you used 1.2GB of data so it was working in Portugal. I have also checked our support platform and I cannot see any help requests from you which is a shame. It is really easy to ask for help - just tap 'Help' when signed in to your account for the fastest response to any enquiry.
Our eSIMs are 'data only' and not designed for traditional calls but you can make calls using apps like WhatsApp and Facetime because they use data. In an emergency, you can switch your Primary SIM on to make a call but your home network provider may charge you for that call.
I am going to contact you offline to find out more. Safe travels, Jim - easySim.
