“Loaded it onto phone, which was showing but couldn't access the data.
Tried to assign it again but stated it was assigned. In the end i gave up.

It looks like there may have been a misunderstanding around how our eSIMs work. easySim provides data-only eSIMs, which means they don’t support traditional SMS services, including receiving 2FA (two-factor authentication) text messages. We do try to make this clear on our website, but I appreciate it’s frustrating if this wasn’t what you needed.
In terms of pricing, the plan you purchased was £2.99, which is one of our lowest-cost options and is designed for light data usage while travelling. I can also see that only a very small amount of data was used.

“The SIM was not working in Turkey, and that is ok, if information about this was available. Instead, tha SIM was mimiking connection up to 3G, but with no internet.”

1) Turkey is our number one destination and we have thousands of very happy customers that have used, and our using our eSIMs right now.
2) You used over 50% of your data and I can see you did that on 4G and 5G so I am not sure what you mean by 'no internet'.

“Coiuldnt get it to work in the States - top be fair the tech support was very helpful and patient - but nowhere near the straight forward process portrayed. Updated this review from 2 stars to 3 stars as the after care and contact has to be fair been very good and we were offered a discount on a second esim. Unfortunately we couldnt get that to work either first time but as we had the instructions from the first time around we could follow these. So got there in the end but not what I'd expected.”

“Installation was not as clear as suggested. Following their suggested process on a Samsung Galaxy S24+, the sim was activated a day earlier than intended. There was no obvious explanation of how to start using it: since it was a Spanish SIM, I assumed I needed to indicate that I was using it only in the region, but I discovered by accident that I needed to indicate use abroad; this could have been explained more clearly. Also, I was not aware that the SIM covered data only; perhaps this was communicated, but I was under the impression I would be able to send texts or make phone calls, but I was limited to data only. In the end, I was able to use it, but the data allowance was so low that I used it only as a backup when I couldn't connect to WiFi, which was not ideal.”

Our China eSIM works in mainland China only and does not provide coverage in Hong Kong, which requires a different data bundle. It also sounds like there may have been a simple phone setting causing the initial connection problem in Chongqing — something we could have helped fix quickly if we’d known you were having trouble. I have checked and I can see you asked for help installing your eSIM but you did not contact us after that which is a shame!
