“Other aspects of the service were fine but it is not clear to me why it takes Estate Sawmills well over a week to deliver an order of stock items. A builders merchant would only take a couple of days.”

Hi Alan and many thanks for your review. During busy periods delivery times may be longer than usual due to high demand and increased workloads. We always aim to deliver as promptly as possible, but during peak times there may be slight delays. We appreciate your patience and understanding and we do our best to get materials to you as quickly and efficiently as we can.

“Always use estate for our fencing and decking as price good, product good and delivery drivers excellent Was a bit concerned with this order that I had ordered a month in advance to be told on day of delivery over 300 palings were going to be missed from delivery due to stock issue, they did turn up at the end of the week but could have delayed my trades if any later”

Hi Rachel and many thanks for your review. Stock is constantly coming into ourselves, however due to the seasonal nature of the industry, from time to time we do experience stock shortages and delays with some items coming in. Our suppliers are doing their best to get everything to us on the agreed dates. We understand this can be frustrating and we are doing everything we can to get items restocked as quickly as possible.

“Placed an order for delivery around 7 days later. Delivery day came and was told the fence panels were out of stock as they’d sold out over the weekend. How can that happen when they had an order pre booked! Had to wait 2 days for the panels to come which was only from Wakefield. All products are excellent, just very disappointed that not everything was delivered in time, especially as it was for my daughter and we had to go to their house twice to wait!”

“Estate sawmills delivered my timber really quickly the delivery instructed that it was curbside but the driver went above and beyond and carried the timber to where I was stacking it myself, I ordered 20 lengths of timber and one length of it had slight damage and scuffing but rather than throwing this timber away the driver delivered an extra length that was in perfect condition. This ended up being a life saver as I had miscut a piece during my build.”
