The rhubarb sent was 4 months out of date emailed on the day but still no response in terms of apology,refund or replacement but have received this request for a review brave move; I have now received refund but no replacement/ compensation for out date product which I didn't get to try so I'm in worse position than if I not ordered it in first place I'm left disappointed

We're so happy we were able to sort out the issue with the rhubarb jelly. Apologies we didn't get back to you straight away, as stipulated in our automated reply our office was shut on the 28th December.

I have successfully received the order. However there are some problems this time which may affect my competition this week. 1. The Lomo Loin is totally different than the one I ordered last time. This time, the loin was thin and small and covered with lots of fat which means the exact grams I can get after trimming is wrong. And it is quite important for my pate en croute because it may not be enough and too thin as well now. The third picture was the Lomo loin from last time, which is thicker and probably trimmed without fat. And the one I received this time is totally different. 2. The bag of oak smoked pork was damaged when I just opened the box and it became without vacuumed situation (lots of air inside), which may not as fresh as it should be. 3. The bottles of yuzu vinegar are wrong, it became yuzu juice. I’m so worried about these problems because they are all for my competition which I will start make it tonight and tomorrow. We are really happy that we were able to resolve this and replace all your goods in time for your competition. Once again we are so sorry your order didn't arrive as expected. As explained this is due to the influx of new staff we've recently employed to cover our busy Christmas period. We have fed these errors back to our fulfilment team so going forward all should be well. Good luck for your competition!

Thanks for the wild mushrooms, ceps and king oysters! BUT... Unfortunately half of them went to waste, full with worms and holes šŸ˜žšŸ˜žšŸ˜ž. Unfortunately I didn't take any pictures! Quality control should be improved! This are expensive mushrooms at the end of the day!

Oh dear we are so sorry to read this. Our quality control is very high in regards to our Porcini mushrooms which being a natural product are prone to having worms. Because of this we tend to loose 1/4 of our stock during our quality control checks, and we slice each Porcini in half to get a better insight into the quality. It is a shame you didn't reach out to us and send us photographs so we could have shown this to show our fulfilment team who work extremely hard to ensure that this does not happen. We'd love to know if this happens in the future to any of our customers so that we can rectify it and compensate accordingly.

For the price, including shipping, this was not value for money. I know goose is an expensive meat, but the breast I received was not much bigger than a chicken breast and was mostly fat. I will most definitely be a returning customer.

We're so sorry to read your review. In terms of our delivery, we charge one flat rate fee for all our perishable items at £11.95. This charge is for as many items as you want. I can see that you only had one item in your order which does inflate the cost of the item. Typically most customers buy multiple products from us rather than single items. The goose breasts are all done by weight so you'll always get what you've paid for. Goose is typically fattier than chicken, however the breast shouldn't have been mostly fat.
