“Products arrived in a timely way. A little disappointed that they were not vac packed or in sealed containers even though they are dry They are now in sealed containers Can't comment on quality as I haven't used them yet but they look good”

Thank you for taking the time to review us. We don't vac-pac our dried mushrooms as with all suppliers of dried mushrooms, who either sell them in screw top jars or zip-locked bags. This is so they don't break and also so they can be re-used. We hope you enjoy the quality when you try them.

“I ordered some caviar for Christmas. It arrived in good time and the delivery was reliable. We ate it on Christmas Day but it was disappointing and not very tasty. I’m afraid we won’t bother next year.”

“Promptly delivered to correct address and nicely supplied in bag with ice to help it on its journey to me. Decent caviar and have high expectations for the duck foie gras- all helping me really enjoy my Christmas in the twilight of life. Good pricing helped make much possible. Many thanks to Fine Foods as I know that those with responsibility for my happiness would struggle to come up to the plate and that I would have to do the job.”

“The quality of the food is excellent, as advertised, never in question. Full marks and the gold star on this one! To an "old timer" like me, the website, notably the ordering process, could be simplified and made easier to use. Colleagues at Fine Food continue to answer queries and put right any problems arising speedily, politely yet in a friendly manner. Possibly some thought on tweaking the ordering process would not go amiss”

“everything spot on as usual , great delivery and great phone team, my only gripe was the micro herbs with one pack having a lot of soil in so wasn’t that useable, hasn’t put me off using them for quality products”

Unfortunately due to the perishable nature of our products we need to go with certain carriers and we also need to use various packaging items to ensure deliveries are safely delivered in their expected condition.

Thank you for your review regarding our excellent quality products. We are always reviewing the way we package our items, unfortunately for frozen items we need to use a lot of ice packs and dry ice so that the items remain frozen.

“I was very pleased with the flavour of the peaches! out of this world but some of them were a little over ripe. The mirabelles were in good condition but lacking a little of their true flavour. The black carrots really lacked flavour. Black (or purple) carrots are normally very sweet.”
