“I gave 4 stars (vs 5) as a feedback to the company. The product is great, but extra protection is needed for shipping to USA. There is a small damage on the inside of the bed frame (no big deal). Packaging is just the shipping box (no extra padding). I'm sure I'm not the first person to metion this. Again...just a feedback and not a true complaint.”

“The bed itself is very nice, but it was not easy to put together. There were many screws and not all the screw holes had been drilled. It would not have been possible to do the job without a power drill.”

“The quality of the bed and all of the parts are very good. I just wish the whole experience could match that. Given how much GLB is proud of their better bed slats, it's very curious to me that there is no photos of them on their website. All of their beds are shown with a mattress on them. I had to request a photo of to see what they look like, which they did send. I didn't like that there is no directions on their website or any kind of assembly video to give you some idea what the process is like. It would be nice if there is a PDF or something you could download. The bed parts came with some very simple printed directions, that appear to be generic to the type of bed I ordered. No mention in there was made about the Lettered stickers that are supposed to guide you as far as which tab goes into which slot. I had to go back to the website and look at the 3D model to compare normal and space saver Platform Bed to ensure the side beams where in the correct orientation so the shelf for the slats is at the right height for the space saver bed I ordered. Otherwise the slats would have been to low and would not have supported the mattress. Outside of those issues everything came together good and I'm loving the new bed frame so far.”

“We are very pleased with the look of our new bed frame. We ordered from the USA, so the bed was delivered to us in individual slats. The pieces are easy to identify, making assembly a bit more simple. If you are assembling the bed you definitely without question will need an electric drill. The bed is exactly what we ordered so no complaints. The pack of 6 felt floor protectors for $11 seemed a bit pricey, but for expediency, it was good to have.”

As an improvement, for the screwing of the slats into the bed frame I would provide measurements, or markings, or a spacer that allows easier installation. Many thanks for the service.”

“The wood was good quality. It looked beautiful with the stain and wood grain. One minor issue we had was a few of holes didn’t line up and we had to drill our own. Instructions were a little hard to follow but over all the bed frame is beautiful and very sturdy, would recommend and buy from them again.”

“Exactly what we ordered, happy so far. We placed the bed on a rug so no felt pads underneath. Instructions were included and clear, but it was not very clear which pieces were which, the stain was the same as slats so that didn't help, maybe pieces could be labeled? As an international order we were not eligable for installation. We have yet to build the underbed stroage, but excited this was an option.”

“I love the bed frame As far as assembly.. I will say the holes drilled were not very good.. not deep enough I had to redrill for the screws provided . It was a hard maple that maybe made it more difficult? Ready to order another”

“Wonderful product. I purchased a king size and maple day-bed. Friendly staff. High quality. Did not get 5 stars because both beds arrived with missing screws/instructions/parts. They were quick to respond, but disappointed to have the same problem twice.”

“Great quality bed frame and it matched the description and photos from the website. Deducted 1 star because one of the beds came chipped and the instructions were not great. I also ordered 2 of the same beds, and the beds came in multiple boxes without labels so it was hard to figure out which pieces were for which bed.”

“I'm happy with my completed bed and underbed storage. However, the bed was difficult to assemble because the guide holes for the screws were not deep enough. We had to drill holes of our own and the process took a long time. Also, despite paying for faster shipping, the bedframe was delayed, and the underbed storage wasn't shipped at all until I contacted the company to remind them I'd ordered it. In the course of these various problems, I took a closer look at the online reviews on the website and saw that only the five star reviews were included. This feels dishonest, in addition to leaving me skeptical about the point of this review I'm writing. I wonder if customers will ever see it? On the plus side, I had no problem assembling the underbed storage by myself, and it works well and looks very nice. Additionally, Customer Service was very polite and apologetic when I reached out with my various concerns. I'm leaving four stars because now that the drama is behind us, I have a very nice solid wood bed at a reasonable price.”
