“We purchased 4 beds and scheduled their delivery for the same day. The delivery date was delayed. When we actually received our boxes a few days late, we opened them up and realized we were missing the parts for two of the beds. I called customer service and they advised some boxes had been delayed and would be delivered separately. Due to the delay, we had many pieces just on the bedroom floor since we could not assemble them. About a week later, we received the parts to complete the additional two beds, however, no hardware to put them together. We now have a bedroom with about 40 pieces on the floor unable to assemble. I called customer service again and they advised I wait for a delivery from England which could take a couple of weeks or go purchase the hardware myself at a local hardware store and email them the receipt. I should have been aware that challenges would arise since the vendor is overseas but beware, if you order these beds, be flexible. The two beds that have been assembled seem very strong and beautifully made just a pain to have to wait a month for them to be built then not receive the appropriate prices/hardware to assemble on the date”

“Update: I am revising my 1 star to a 4 star because I am very happy with the bed now that I have received it. It was over a week late but Amy with Get Laid Beds did refund my shipping costs which I am thankful for. Original post: I was supposed to receive my bed on Dec 23 . It is a christmas present for my son. The status as of Dec 24 is that it is sill in GB and I live in the US. I am very disappointed.”

“Just put my new bed together, I ordered it with two drawers. Delivery was fast, communication about the progress very good. I would suggest not using styrofoam in the packaging. First of all it is awful stuff, secondly it arrived all crumbled and makes a total mess. There must be a better alternative. Directions for assembly could be clearer. A few helpful hints (such as being careful to place screw holes on the right side of a headboard before putting it together with the side rails!) would have gone a long way, as well as bigger and clearer pictures. The holes for the casters were too close together but the wood soft enough to put in a screw without pre-drilled hole. The slats for the drawers were supposed to be marked but we figured it out (we think) without that. The loose drawers under the bed are just a little too wide so that you cannot draw both out without one of them getting stuck behind a leg of the bed. It would have been nice for them to fit on rails. In the end the bed is simple, solid and strong, and I like that it is all wood. The drawers are roomy . No complaints about the end product!”

“Overall a good experience. Customer service was okay — they did respond but we ended up figuring out the issue ourselves before hearing back. Delivery was smooth and everything arrived well packed. Would love if they offered wood samples in Ireland like they do in the US, as that would make choosing finishes much easier.”

“Really, 4.8 stars. The bed was well made, but was shipped without assembly directions, and no directions downloadable on the website. Otherwise the bed was shipped rapidly and was well packed.”

“Love the low-profile, solid wood bed for my son. Makes a great toddler bed! The finish is nice as well, and I really enjoy the fact that it's solid wood. There are a few scuffs here and there since there was no packaging material to protect it during shipping, but nothing too noticeable. Assembly was very simple and straightforward, but I do wish the slats had two screws each to better secure them. They are a little wobbly and loose with just one screw on each end, and some of them don't sit very flush with the frame. I removed one star due to that and the fact that I ordered the felt floor protectors, and those were left out of my order.”

“Bed frame is fine quality construction. Assembly was easy with exception of the fact that the hardware provided was three screws short of required; requiring a trip to the hardware store for supplies. As many purchasers have noted, the packaging is in need of improvement. Two of three cardboard containers were torn and/or wet. Thankfully all components arrived in good shape. Delivery was fast, arriving a day before my requested date.”

“I am more than satisfied with Get Laid Beds. Needed something different in my bedroom and after much research Get Laid Beds seemed to and did meet my needs. The height of the bed was a concern to me. There were options offered, and I choose a leg option that met my needs. The slats were wide and appear lasting. I have small issues, which is why did not give five stars. Bed came in 8 pieces in seven days. I was not expecting that. In addition, some boxes were minimally packed with material to absorb damage. Not good. Other than these issues well satisfied, would consider buying again.”

“The product I feel is excellent. The smell of the hard wood as I drift off to sleep on this bed frame is excellent. My only complaint would be in the process of putting the bed together. I don't think I need better instructions, but some design choices would make the process a bit more Poka Yoke. Adding pilot holes in the side rails and slats would definitely make getting the frame set up a bit easier and help ensure that the weight is evenly distributed on the frame. Other than that, I would defnitely buy another frame from y'all when I need one.”

“Recipient IS delighted with the new London bed. A couple of things to consider: The ninth [mattress support] wood slat arrived quite warped and without the two pilot holes. Naturally, we put that one - unattached - at the foot of the bed. It would be EXCELLENT if we could get a replacement. Next, the finishing washers arrived in the bag of 35mm screws. This was confusing, as those washers are to be used with the 60mm screws.”
