“This is my go-to hobby store. Despite other stores already have some items in-stock, I chose to wait for this place to get theirs and support them.
I just wish their customer service improves more. I have to follow-up a few time on the same question to get a response. Usually I just let it slide when they ignored most of my inquiries about their upcoming stocks, or potential preorders, since I assumed they’re swarmed.

“Placed an order for multiple items, so a decently sized box - took a week to get here from the time the order was placed, so fairly normal shipping.
A couple of the boxes for the items I ordered were a little smushed, the stuff inside appears to be perfectly fine on initial inspection. This isn't something I really care about personally for model kits, but I know some people do and it might be a bigger deal with figures and MIB collectors. Oddly enough, the items were packed pretty well, so I'm not sure if the damage occurred prior to shipping or during shipping.
Finally, if you go to, "shipping policy", on their site, it still shows free shipping for orders of $200. I brought this to their attention, but apparently it still has not been corrected (it's $300, not $200). Would be nice if they took the time to actually update that.
All in all, it was a rather positive experience. I wouldn't have any issue ordering from them in the future.”
“I am happy with the items I ordered, but am very disappointed that I had to pay $10 for shipping just for my items to have no bubble wrap, be crammed into a box they don’t fit into, and arrive with the box they shipped in all smushed and then the boxes the items came in be smushed as well. Kind of seems like I paid the shipping fee for the box to get kicked around. If I do order from Glacier Hobbies again, I would hope that the items are cared for a bit more during the shipping process. I know sometimes that it can’t be helped when boxes are dropped or aren’t handled with care on their way to their destination, but using packaging that has adequate room for the items as well as bubble wrap or other things to protect the items could prevent boxes being smushed.”

We saw both of your emails, and replied with both within the hour. We apologize for the confusion; it was stated in the FAQ that the free shipping limit was increased to $300 temporarily due to increased shipping cost. We will return the limit back to $200 when shipping cost decreases. As for it stating $200 as the limit, we do apologize for that since we failed to update the page in time.
“Only reason it's not 5 stars is just because the package was mislabeled as a pickup instead of a delivery but that's an easy fix, really my rating is 4.9. I ordered the Gunprimer Raser The Black and it came brand new with everything it was supposed to. Great place to buy I'd say.”
