I agree that it does feel like a long time for delivery with any orders placed after 6am on Wednesdays up until Monday 6am, as these only leave us Tuesday but that is the longest it will take - 7 days. Orders placed before 6am Mondays will be with customers on the Wednesday (a 2 day delivery). We coincide these times with our DX couriers and to reduce transit time for the plants. I have given 4 stars as the rose took just over a week to arrive and was a day late for the occasion. However, the customer service staff were extremely helpful and very friendly. “Lovely quality roses, packaged well for transport. Only downside was the photos on both the website & labels are not completely accurate for colour referencing (I thought on of my roses was white, not off-yellow) but it is written in the description, if unlike me, you read things!”
“I ordered 2 packs of 6 shady perennials but only 1 was delivered. The mistake was quickly rectified when they sent out the second pack having taken care to check which varieties I had received. The plants were very healthy and are already showing signs of new growth after a couple of weeks.”

“Plants are always first class quality. Used to be better value and it's a shame that their prices have risen. Saying that, there are lots of offers and free gifts. Delivery is quick.
I've taken a star off purely because of delivery. Despite on the last two orders it clearly stated please leave by back door (which is a really short distance from front door), they were both times left on front step. Luckily I managed to see the delivery on one occasion and got him to take them to the back, but one time I had to do it myself. I'm disabled with arthritis, walk with a stick and find moving heavy boxes hard work. So if they get delivery to actually read the instructions I'll definitely give 5 stars.”

“Ordering online was easy enough. The 'blurb' said that the plant would arrive with fruit on it, which it did. But I think the remaining fruit on the plant was past its best, which is a shame.”
“Prompt service, and well-branched bare-root rose (the pretty lilac 'Novalis') which has settled into its position in partial shade. The darker purple rose 'Twilight Zone' alongside for harmony contrast. Looking forward to the rose seasion!”
“Ordered two heucheras. One of them was a perfect plant, the other one was showing no growth at all. Tipped the pot up and found the plant had been put in the pot upside down. Both are now in the ground and look very healthy. This is my first purchase from Golden Valley Plants and I will order again”
