The cake I ordered was never recieved and what I recieved is an eaten cake, scrambled and the left over is delivered to the address on the birthday. There was nothing to cut as a cake on the important day and nothing to be eaten from such garbage thrown on door by the delivery. Ruthless. Moreover, chocolate was not what I ordered. This is the most disturbing thing I could ever face on an important day.

Absolute scam operation. The goods they fill your basket with are low quality junk, but they hide behind murky company policy and decline refunds. I ordered a $250 basket and received junk goods worth less than $40. Absolute trash company. DO NOT USE HAZELTON'S.

This company is a scam. You fill out the order online and then they deliver whatever they have in stock instead (ie: paper tray instead of wicker, cheap cheese instead of the expensive items even when specific cheese is ordered.) They do not answer phone calls (despite waiting twice for over 45 minutes each time; and despite leaving voicemail.) Their customer service manager - Valerie - sends antagonistic replies by email, rather than addressing concerns. They delivered a very poor product. It's false advertising.

It is not made clear from the outset that these baskets are being put together hours away from their destination. They should not be shipping perishable products. To add to this, it took a 5 days for my delivery to arrive— and when there was a glitch with the recipient address, there was nothing I could do. Someone supposedly signed for my package and a stranger received the 160.00 gift. This never would have happened with a small local shop. Customer service at Hazelton’s would not offer me any compensation despite the fact that the recipient’s name and phone number were on the order. This process was a big waste of time and money.

I ordered 15 wine boxes to be delivered yesterday. I payed for all of them. They delivered 1 box. Customer service person "Valerie" says the balance will be delivered today but can not provide an estimate delivery time or tracking?

Be very careful. I placed an order for over $200.00. Web site clearly states FREE SHIPPING ACROSS CANADA WITH ORDERS OVER $200.00. Much to my surprise, I am going though my statement a few weeks latter and there is a charge for $25.00 I never approved or even new about. I contact them and get this, PEI is considered remote by them so they decided to add on an extra charge. Now I did not major in Georgraphy, and quite frankly I probably suck at it, but last time I checked, even though PEI is an island it is part of Candad as per confederation. Thank you for reaching out to us regarding your recent transaction. We understand that you have some concerns about an additional remote shipping fee that was applied to your order. We would like to provide you with more information about this charge. So here is what they wrote which I cannot find on the web site. Our shipping department found it necessary to apply this fee in order to deliver your order to the address you provided. This decision was made based on the remoteness of the location. We strive to be transparent about our delivery policies, and we want to assure you that this charge is in accordance with those policies. As stated in our delivery policies, "An additional charge will be applied where the origin or destination point is deemed by us to be remote or is not serviced directly by us." We hope this explanation helps to clarify why the additional fee was applied. We hope this explains. This is nowhere to be fouond, and I aksed them to show me where it is on the web site and this was the next response. Thank you for your response Unfortunately under these circumstances, your request does not warrant compensation. So, you can run a business and after the fact of paying the invoice which had the deleivery address on it, decide what you want and what to charge? This is really not right and in my mind decitful and fraudulent. Of course I called my credit card company and they reveresed the charge, but they should not have to eat the $25.00. Of course it is not a large amount, and if they were upfront I would accept it, but it is the principle of the matter. Here is the finer print from thier website. I ordered a gift basket for my daughter bd, driver called Aug 11th couldnt find the address, she was located N Vancouver, never had a problem with the address before, google map, gps and Canada Post know by the postal code, after a week of frustrating calls with their crs they delivered for an extra $45! Last time I will place an order with them and would highly recommend to my friends and family not to order from them. Terrible customer service!!! Annette Delaney

I'd give zero stars if I could. This company is a scam! We can't schedule a delivery even though they ask you for a delivery date, there's no customer service and you can't cancel an order. But they only show you good reviews on their website. I wish I had seen their reviews in Google before ordering.

The gift basket arrived at destination two days after the agreed upon date. When it arrived it had another customer’s sympathy card instead of the wedding anniversary card I had request. Very disappointing!

Would give this zero stars if possible. Huge rip off and no customer service whatsoever. I spoke to both Olivia and Valerie and both were pathetic, sad individuals (Valerie was a particular brand of horrible human being). I paid for a lot of expensive and quality items which they substituted for cheap subpar items. Not only that, they guaranteed my next day delivery and it got “held up”, so the chocolate covered strawberries and grapes I paid for were mouldy and inedible on arrival. When I complained they kept sending me links to their substitutions policy, despite me asking them to escalate to someone who matters, several times. By the way, the substitutions policy explicitly states that they will only substitute the odd item with items that are of equal or greater value. Nowhere does it say they will substitute ALL expensive items for cheap, lousy items. So they are happy to breach their own policies and defraud people, completely blatantly as well. Disgusting pathetic company. DO NOT USE

Avoid like the plague. Ordered a basket for my son’s birthday (first one away from home). Courier failed to deliver and company repeatedly insisted our fault for providing incomplete address details (which is rubbish as the address was the central mail desk for UBC students and my son and all his friends have received numerous parcels to the exact same address). No apology and refusal to provide full refund. Turned what was supposed to be an expensive but nice surprise for my son into an upsetting and horrible experience. Appalling.

This company does not deserve even one star . It’s a scam , the are literally stealing peoples money . Rotten fruit , cheap produits of terrible quality were sent instead of the luxera goods advertised in the photos . The champagne was cheap sparkling grape juice . And they will only talk by e mail to say they do not do refunds . Stay away from this site ! A waste of money

They guaranteed the basket on a certain day which was the only reason it was ordered! Then it was delivered 6 days later (AFTER repeated calls and emails asking to be canceled) to the house where the people were not there. They had plenty of time to cancel the order since they did NOT deliver it on the Guaranteed date they said they could have it there! DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY TO DO THE RIGH THING! If you like throwing your hard earned money away though...this is the place.

DO NOT use this company under any circumstances. I realised they were a scam after their help line didn't work, there was no option to leave a gift message, and I read other reviews which said the products in no way resembled the picture, didn't arrive, had rotting fruit, etc. So I tried to cancel almost immediately after placing the order - ie before it had been prepared or shipped. Company said no refunds possible, and put the goods out for shipping anyway. I phoned shipping company and told them not to deliver and return to sender (they agreed to do this). Hazelton's 'customer service' were rude and threatening. When I quoted from Consumer Act, they said 'Good luck with that. You're not getting a refund'. Luckily, my bank thought otherwise and refunded me through my credit card. I have never in my life been treated so badly by a company

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Gift never arrived. Tried to tell me incorrect address. Would not re-deliver without giving another $27. Refused to refund amount paid. Terrible company.
