Delivered 4 days after birthday ! What can I say that's not in the title? I bought a $200+ gift basket for a birthday, set the delivery date to the next day which was the birthday date of the person receiving the basket and it took 4 days to get it delivered. To say I'm not happy with the service is an understatement. The customer service interactions were beyond frustrating, with the agents and their manager sending the same pre-canned email over and over and hiding behind the fact that it was not their fault but the carrier fault. Well, breaking news for you Hazelton, I don't buy from the carrier, I buy from you, and it is your responsibility once you've cashed the money to deliver on your promise to the client. I had always been satisfied until this point, but with this incident, this is clearly the last time I'm ordering from this company.

Ordered a sympathy basket. When delivered, they had substituted every item in the basket including the customized items that had cost additional charges, and they included 2 substituted items of shellfish dip which the recipient is allergic to, and a cheap bag of jack links beef jerky. This "company" is a scam.

Very poor customer service and would not honor their website information regarding shipping to Canada. We ordered well over $100 CAD . I have included a snip from their US website . Would not escalate and did not care that it was clear on the website just that it was less in US funds.

1. They do not have Google Reviews activated. 2. They have the comment section of their Instagram turned off. 3. The reviews left on their website undergo an approval process before being published on their website. I used this company for the first time to send a family member a congratulatory gift. They never received the gift. The driver, hired by Hazelton's, left the gift basket just on the floor of the lobby, which is accessible to everyone and anyone (there is no security). I will admit that the driver called the recipient, but left no VM. Also, there was a sign where the driver dumped the basket to call a specific number for deliveries. The time lapse between the driver arriving and leaving was 1 minute, which makes me think that the driver didn't even attempt to deliver the package to the right floor that was indicated on the shipping label. When I reached out to Hazelton's to let them know that the basket was never received, their response was "Well, the package was left in a safe place." I asked them to define a safe place. The response was, "It just has to be inside of a building." I do not recommend this company.

The order arrived after 5 days, it was messed up. They switched up half the things I actually selected in my custom order (without notifying me) WORST EXPERIENCE. AVOID AT ALL COST. you are better off making your own gift basket and sending it as a package (it would come out cheaper and faster)

I ordered a gift basket for my son and fiancé for a housewarming and did a custom basket, I signed off in the terms and conditions stating that if they don't have a product they will substitute with equal or higher value, almost everything I picked was different and they put in at a LOWER cost, VERY DISAPPOINTING to say the least!! and the fruit I ordered was delivered with mold and had to be thrown out. I completely wasted my money and will NOT recommend this company to anyone! I called and they wanted an email with pictures which was provided to them and then said you signed off and thats to bad, even though I received much lesser value products. This company is terrible and hope this review helps other customers before they use them!

I sent a delivery to my husband for his birthday. It came a day early and was the complete wrong order. I called to let them know in hopes they would send the right one and they said they couldn’t help me. I ordered a neat package and they sent me a package of all fish. My husband is allergic to fish so it was a complete waste. The costumer service was horrible and I will say don’t waste your time with the terrible company.

MISLEADING- The products ordered were not like to like, I ordered a beautiful pink bunny baby hamper- they substituted everything on the contents- and it nowhere looked like what I wanted to send to my family. Upon contacting, they mentioned there substitute policy and all that stuff- my point is once the order gets placed, if you-don’t have originals- make the person aware so they can cancel the order and move on, not to fall for some ugly looking hamper being sent to loved ones and substandard quality!!!!!!!

I would never use this company again. Sent an email and did a review because of 80% substitutions to the basket I ordered. Really??? No acknowledgment or reply whatsoever. Very poor service for sure

DON’T order from this company!!!! I ordered a gift basket for my daughter’s birthday. I ordered 2 cheeses, one salami, 2 boxes of crackers, salmon pate, bruschetta, truffles and a bottle of wine and an acacia cutting board. She actually got 5 cheeses (really???) , 2 salamis, NO crackers, lobster pate, salsa instead of bruschetta, a cheap bag of watermelon candy for the $20 I paid for the truffles. The wine was correct and there was a cutting board but not confident it was what I ordered either.

Apparently in the guidelines in fine print, they do not actually have to give you what you have ordered. I ordered an item for Fathers Day unfortunately he can’t even have it because it was not what was ordered and what they did send he is allergic to. I will not be using there service again

I ordered a gift basket for my sister’s birthday. The order was supposed to be delivered the next day ( Friday). However, the basket didn’t arrive until Monday late morning. There were chocolate covered strawberries and Brie cheese in the basket that were not refrigerated so spoiled. I contacted customer service a couple times to express my concern with no corrective action. The company agreed to refund the valued of of the spoiled items. I will not be ordering from HAZELTON Canada again!

Awful. I ordered a basket at the beginning of the week to be delivered on Friday. Spoke to the delivery driver twice and even texted her the address, for her to deliver it to the wrong house. When I called customer service, they wanted to charge me to remake the backet for delivery. I own a company and am always sending out gifts/baskets to customers and colleagues. I will never buy from them again. Advice to everyone is look for smaller local companies that care about their customers as this was a NIGHTMARE!!!

I ordered chocolate covered strawberries for my Mother for Mother’s Day and they arrived with the chocolate in tiny pieces at the bottom of the box (looked like it had been thrown against a wall!) and the strawberries were rotten and not eatable! I contacted customer service and they gave me HALF my money back?? after not even 1 strawberry could be eaten. The whole thing went in the trash! It was disgusting! I don’t recommend using this company! I will never order again. They lost my business! Sheryl G

I placed an order for Easter April 15 to be delivered April 17. It was shipped April 16. Did not arrive till April 23. Fruit was bad and had leaked onto the contents of the basket. I had contacted the company and had many frustrating and basically rude emails. Finally when the basket arrived I sent pictures of the spoiled basket. It was for Easter and arrived 6 days after requested date. They have agreed to refund for the spoiled fruit. I spent almost 300$ for this basket. First and last time I will use this company. Poor customer service as well

Still waiting for my item to be delivered. It was to be delivered on a Friday and it was a birthday gift. At 7:30 a.m. I got a delay notice and as of Monday no notice that it has been delivered. There is no reason given nor is it the holiday season. I figure that on a Friday everyone wanted to go home so they just left the gift to sit until this week. I ordered this gift in plenty of time for it to be shipped out earlier if needed. Ive contacted customer service twice and all I get is the "We are sorry, it will be delivered soon." "We have no control over delivery." Even though this is a private delivery service? No excuse for this poor customer service.

I am extremely disappointed with my purchase. They swapped the bottle for a cheaper one and sent two broken glass pieces with low-quality wood. I paid $190 for something that is not even worth a third of that. I strongly advise others to avoid this seller, as this experience felt like a scam.

Extremely unhappy with the way they handled a birthday gift. It was placed well in advance. Birthday gifts are supposed to be surprise gift, so I cannot ask the recipient to go and check whether something is coming. The driver delivered the Birthday gift at the food delivery counter and the recipient never knew it was arrived, even though the contact number was provided. Very bad service. The website shipment tracking keep displayed that the gift was still with the driver. After several emails and phone calls (international) came to know that they driver delivered it at the food delivery counter of the residential building. Never expected this from a reputed company. Such and embarrassment. I have lost the trust with this company.

Extremely Disappointing Experience I placed an order with Hazelton’s on February 17th, expecting delivery on February 22nd. I intentionally gave them ample time to arrange the shipment, even though their website advertises “1-day delivery.” Today is February 25th, and my order still hasn’t arrived. The package contains perishable items—pie and cookies—so I’m now concerned they’ve spoiled. What’s worse, there’s no way to contact the courier company, and Hazelton’s customer service has been completely unhelpful. I’ve sent multiple emails, but each time, they either fail to respond or say they can’t provide a solution. This was my first order with Hazelton’s, and it will definitely be my last. I’m sharing this review to warn other customers: their delivery promises are inaccurate, their customer service is unreliable, and overall, this is not a professional platform.
