I would never use this company again. Sent an email and did a review because of 80% substitutions to the basket I ordered. Really??? No acknowledgment or reply whatsoever. Very poor service for sure

DON’T order from this company!!!! I ordered a gift basket for my daughter’s birthday. I ordered 2 cheeses, one salami, 2 boxes of crackers, salmon pate, bruschetta, truffles and a bottle of wine and an acacia cutting board. She actually got 5 cheeses (really???) , 2 salamis, NO crackers, lobster pate, salsa instead of bruschetta, a cheap bag of watermelon candy for the $20 I paid for the truffles. The wine was correct and there was a cutting board but not confident it was what I ordered either.

Apparently in the guidelines in fine print, they do not actually have to give you what you have ordered. I ordered an item for Fathers Day unfortunately he can’t even have it because it was not what was ordered and what they did send he is allergic to. I will not be using there service again

I ordered a gift basket for my sister’s birthday. The order was supposed to be delivered the next day ( Friday). However, the basket didn’t arrive until Monday late morning. There were chocolate covered strawberries and Brie cheese in the basket that were not refrigerated so spoiled. I contacted customer service a couple times to express my concern with no corrective action. The company agreed to refund the valued of of the spoiled items. I will not be ordering from HAZELTON Canada again!

Awful. I ordered a basket at the beginning of the week to be delivered on Friday. Spoke to the delivery driver twice and even texted her the address, for her to deliver it to the wrong house. When I called customer service, they wanted to charge me to remake the backet for delivery. I own a company and am always sending out gifts/baskets to customers and colleagues. I will never buy from them again. Advice to everyone is look for smaller local companies that care about their customers as this was a NIGHTMARE!!!

I ordered chocolate covered strawberries for my Mother for Mother’s Day and they arrived with the chocolate in tiny pieces at the bottom of the box (looked like it had been thrown against a wall!) and the strawberries were rotten and not eatable! I contacted customer service and they gave me HALF my money back?? after not even 1 strawberry could be eaten. The whole thing went in the trash! It was disgusting! I don’t recommend using this company! I will never order again. They lost my business! Sheryl G

I placed an order for Easter April 15 to be delivered April 17. It was shipped April 16. Did not arrive till April 23. Fruit was bad and had leaked onto the contents of the basket. I had contacted the company and had many frustrating and basically rude emails. Finally when the basket arrived I sent pictures of the spoiled basket. It was for Easter and arrived 6 days after requested date. They have agreed to refund for the spoiled fruit. I spent almost 300$ for this basket. First and last time I will use this company. Poor customer service as well

Still waiting for my item to be delivered. It was to be delivered on a Friday and it was a birthday gift. At 7:30 a.m. I got a delay notice and as of Monday no notice that it has been delivered. There is no reason given nor is it the holiday season. I figure that on a Friday everyone wanted to go home so they just left the gift to sit until this week. I ordered this gift in plenty of time for it to be shipped out earlier if needed. Ive contacted customer service twice and all I get is the "We are sorry, it will be delivered soon." "We have no control over delivery." Even though this is a private delivery service? No excuse for this poor customer service.

I am extremely disappointed with my purchase. They swapped the bottle for a cheaper one and sent two broken glass pieces with low-quality wood. I paid $190 for something that is not even worth a third of that. I strongly advise others to avoid this seller, as this experience felt like a scam.

Extremely unhappy with the way they handled a birthday gift. It was placed well in advance. Birthday gifts are supposed to be surprise gift, so I cannot ask the recipient to go and check whether something is coming. The driver delivered the Birthday gift at the food delivery counter and the recipient never knew it was arrived, even though the contact number was provided. Very bad service. The website shipment tracking keep displayed that the gift was still with the driver. After several emails and phone calls (international) came to know that they driver delivered it at the food delivery counter of the residential building. Never expected this from a reputed company. Such and embarrassment. I have lost the trust with this company.

Extremely Disappointing Experience I placed an order with Hazelton’s on February 17th, expecting delivery on February 22nd. I intentionally gave them ample time to arrange the shipment, even though their website advertises “1-day delivery.” Today is February 25th, and my order still hasn’t arrived. The package contains perishable items—pie and cookies—so I’m now concerned they’ve spoiled. What’s worse, there’s no way to contact the courier company, and Hazelton’s customer service has been completely unhelpful. I’ve sent multiple emails, but each time, they either fail to respond or say they can’t provide a solution. This was my first order with Hazelton’s, and it will definitely be my last. I’m sharing this review to warn other customers: their delivery promises are inaccurate, their customer service is unreliable, and overall, this is not a professional platform.

Worst experience ever when I ordered the flowers instead of being delivered to the address in Canada they delivered to me in the united states when I tried talking to customer service they treated me so bad this company is not good at all

Bereavement gift arrived with half of the items completely frozen (they had clearly been sitting outside for too long). A frozen bottle of olive oil, frozen bottle of wine, and frozen succulents (i.e, could not be revived). Reached out to customer service, and they refused to do anything without an order number (which could only be obtained from the sender). Surely the company can easily pull records of the order when provided with the delivery address, recipient details, sender details, and date of delivery. However, they refused to help address the damaged delivery without the order number.

I am extremely disappointed with my experience with Hazelton’s. It took an unacceptable 29 days for my gift basket to be delivered, which completely missed the occasion it was intended for. To make matters worse, when the package finally arrived, everything inside was either damaged or frozen beyond use. The red wine exploded and it was the center piece of the basket. For a company that markets itself as a premium gift basket provider, this level of service is appalling. There was no communication to explain the delays, and the quality of the items was far below expectations. This was not only a waste of time but also a waste of money. I would strongly advise against using Hazelton’s for any important gifting needs.

Ordered a Christmas hamper to be delivered on a specific date and they simply didn't deliver even after various email request checking on the shipping status. Needless to say, we looked ridiculous not having sent a gift. Stay away from this company! Totally unprofessional and unreliable.

My gift basket arrived on time & all contents were fine but it contained various fruits, one of them being a large mango; couldn't wait for it to ripen but that took 6 days. When I cut into it, it was bad - had been frozen maybe? Called customer service and I was told that because my complaint came after their 24 hour window when a issue needed to be reported, they would not compensate. Yet there was no documentation within to indicate that so how was I to be aware? Rep kept interrupting me and was not, as your site says: ALWAYS HAPPY TO HELP. Would not recommend this company at all, especially after reading some of the other reviews.

I really wish I had checked the trust pilot reviews before ordering from this place. I placed an order on Dec 16, and they estimated 2 day delivery. Instead, it arrived 3 weeks later and in horrendous condition. The glass bottle was shattered, and glass was everywhere in the package. I sent photo proofs, and they refused to give a refund other than for the bottle. Everything inside was soaked and damaged, and they considered this acceptable for a gift basket that cost $140. The customer service rep insisted that he thinks that the destroyed state is acceptable. Don't order from this company. The gift baskets arrive in terrible condition as others have reported, and they do not care. They do not make it right. It's just embarrassing.

Avoid purchasing from this company. The delivery was delayed by three weeks, which was incredibly frustrating. The quality of the items, especially the chocolate, was disappointing and did not meet expectations. The price is far too high for the quality provided.

Patricia Galán I ordered a gift basket for delivery to Calgary on Dec.20. Today is January 6 and it has not arrived. There are perishable items in the order which obviously will have gone bad by now. Terrible customer service. I asked for a refund and they refused, telling me to contact the delivery service which does not take calls (I tried). The customer should not have to contact delivery themselves, I did not choose this courier, it’s Hazelton’s business to see this through. No delivery, no refund, no service.

I ordered a plant and cake from this company on Dec 17th, for it to be delivered on Dec. 19th. I selected 2 day delivery. The cake arrived in a messy puddle in the box and the plant was completely dead on January 6th!! I do not understand how this is acceptable. I was completely mortified by the state the gifts arrived in and was told that it was my fault by customer service for not choosing one day delivery. The company should review their shipping options and if this is how two day shipping works then it should not be an option for perishable items. I was not offered any compensation. I will not use this company again or recommend it to anyone. Here are the photos of the delivered products. How embarrassing.
