Substituted items for a few baskets we sent and didn't bother to inform us. We wouldn't even know about it except for clients telling us. Also, their customer service is just awful! Excuses and not even an apology!

My friend ordered a basket on December 19, 2024 for me as a Christmas gift to be delivered December 24. I received it January 4, 2025. She tried unsuccessfully to reach out to the company. I would not recommend this company.

Ordered baskets with beautiful fruit and received hard candy instead... Didn't even ask me if they could substitute for different items Also... Customer service is terrible! Possibly new owners???

They completely disregarded requested shipping date. Prior to placing an order, I called and spoke with a customer service rep to ask about delivering only after a specific day ( as the people receiving the basket would be away on vacation until then). She informed me to add the request in the comment section, which I did, and added a note to leave on their back porch if no one answered on the Monday . To my surprise, I received a notification that the basket was out for delivery on the Sunday when I specifically indicated Monday. I called to ask them to hold off on delivering the order. They said that I would have to call the transport company to ask them to hold off on delivering until Monday. As this entirely their fault, they assumed no responsibility but instead put the onus on me, the client to deal with the transport company. Needless to say, the transport company can only be joined by text, and surprise, surprise , disregarded my request. End result: an expensive gift basket left on the doorstep of a home whose owners were still on vacation. Buyers beware, know that once your credit card is charged, after sales service is deplorable !

This company is a complete scam. I am out over $200, and the Christmas basket I ordered has not been delivered—possibly lost. Initially, I was offered a full refund, but when I accepted, I was told they couldn't process it because it was a "third-party issue" and therefore not their responsibility. The customer service is non-existent; it’s impossible to get any meaningful answers. Save your money and shop elsewhere with a legitimate business. If I could, I would give this company zero stars.

This company is a scam!!! I ordered a 250 basket with meats and cheeses to be delivered a day later and it's currently 8 days later and still no basket. They say it's caught up in the delivery station and to just wait. No regard to the fact that its parishable items or that if my clients eat anything they would get sick! They will not send a new basket or refund. Total fraud. DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE. Customer service doesn't care, completely have horrendous experience

Hazelton disastrous service. Ordered a gift basket 12/19/2024 for delivery 12/24/2024. It is 12/29/2024 and the gift basket is in a black hole. The customer service makes you leave a message, with no return phone calls. The delivery service is unreachable. Noone responds to emails. If you must choose, recommend not using this company. Your gifts may not arrive and then you will need to battle getting a refund.

Stay away. They delivered a dead plant/flowers and then blamed me for ordering something “perishable”. In the end they offered a 50% refund for the 100% dead plant and called it “good will on their part”. Refused to take responsibility. It was also 2 days late.

Horrific customer service my order was late it took me 3 days to get in contact with someone and after that all they did was say sorry and offer no real support would never recommend

I would not leave Any stars for this company, but was not able to do that! Placed an order Dec 16 for delivery 24th. Today is the 27th and still no delivery. Excuse was bad weather, but when I spoke to family the weather was fine! I cancelled my order. Hopefully I get my money back!! DO NOT use this company if you want something delivered on time !! Perhaps they need to consider changing from Canpar!!!

Ordered an over $200 wine basket. They used sub par deliver service which left box on side of road near mail box instead of delivery to house and leaving at door. Box of course gone. Long driveway up hill with elderly parents . Email said left at side door. . Hazelton’s could care less when called , said they are not responsible for theft . Very rude customer care women. NEVER ORDER from them . Take no responsibility but happy to take your money. Very unhelpful an un sympathetic.

Basket was ordered on Dec 15. It’s now Dec 26 and still no basket. The tracking number has it sitting in a warehouse somewhere… And no way of contacting the company.

Ordered over a week ago for next day delivery. My order has been sitting somewhere with perishable items for over a week. Customer service takes no responsibility. $200 gift just wasted and no help from company. Deserve a zero.

Despite reading countless negative reviews, I decided to give Hazeltons the benefit of the doubt and placed an order on Tuesday for delivery on Sunday. Unfortunately, as of 6:30 PM on Sunday, my order still hasn’t arrived. I’ve been home all day, waiting patiently, but it’s nowhere to be seen. How does this make any sense, Hazeltons? If you’re struggling to fulfill orders on time, perhaps it’s time to hire more delivery drivers or improve your logistics. Frustrated, I called your customer service team to cancel the order, only to be told it couldn’t be canceled because it was “in transit.” Really? After all this waiting, that’s the response I get? This experience has been beyond disappointing. To anyone considering ordering from Hazeltons, I strongly urge you to reconsider. Save yourself the hassle, frustration, and wasted time. This company clearly doesn’t value its customers or understand how to run a reliable service. Avoid them at all costs.

Over priced and recieved different items than ordered. No communication about substituting items. No refunds, partial refunds, or returns. Buyer beware! Even if you pick specific items, you may get different ones with no communication. For example, a sweeter riesling white wine was orderded, recieved a dry chardonnay. Ordered milk chocolate and recieved dark. Contacting is no help because they only email a copy of the fine print which states they can substitute with no communication and no refunds or exchanges. What was supposed to be a thoughtful gift for my wife, seemed like a careless order of wine and chocolate she doesnt really like.l that was very expensive. Waste of money and would never recommend.

Spent over $700 for cakes and cookies to be delivered to five receipients. 1 was great, the other 4 were a disaster. Arrived completely smashed and broken. Inedible. Worst of all, I made mutliple attempts to contact them and they will not respond. At this point, I would highly caution using them. If I end up getting a response, I will update my review

Do not buy from these people. The lost my order and told me to try calling the courier company as maybe they could help locate it. No customer service they just keep saying “thank you for your patience” it’s a bust time. No refund as they “might”find it! Maybe my friends will get it next Christmas.
