“Ordered 4 pairs of shoes of which 3 were exactly what I expected. The fourth pair its heel type was not what I expected, I ordered Ultra Flare which I though was a broader heel, as the Flare heel as far as I know it, is going wider at the bottom. Ultra Flare, however, turned out to be a slimmer heel... wish I had found the page with the heel types before ordering... However, the returns procedure was quite alright and the sales customer service was friendly, quick in responding and informative. As the return is still on it's way I can't judge about the handling yet. International Dance Shoes quality is very good and for a very nice price. The shoes can be customized which is very customer friendly. There are several models for the ballroom shoes, SuperStar is a bit more for slender feet and the Classic is a bit more rounded. All in all I really like the brand. They also are open to orders with the shoes they still have in stock. Even though the factory is closed now, I could still reach the customer service.”

“It can be difficult finding the right shoe size online, and unfortunately the ballroom shoes weren't the right fit. Luckily, returning them was easy and fast and I will be getting shoes from IDS again (now that I know what size I need!) as the quality is great.”

“Based on info I provided about my current shoe collection and fit preferences, I received excellent guidance from International on size selection of my ballroom practice shoe. My regular size 9-1/2, medium width, was a perfect fit in this brand, with great support yet no cramping of toes despite being a pointier shoe than I’m used to for street wear. International is the brand recommended by our ballroom dance teacher for best fit and quality. She particularly mentioned the importance of secure heels that will not detach, mid-dance, as she has seen occur with cheaper brands. I found the price very reasonable—right in the ballpark with my favorite street wear brands. I consider my International dance shoes an excellent investment. As an aside, my first order from International was lost by DHL en route, due to snow delays in our area that apparently threw the shipping process into disarray. I contacted International for a refund (as I needed shoes promptly for an upcoming event) and was very pleased by the sympathetic and even apologetic response I got, tho the mishap was no fault of their own. My refund came thru without delay. I then bought shoes locally to get me thru the 3-day weekend contra dance event comprising hours and hours of contra & waltz each day. By Monday my feet were murdered—blistered, bandaged up and miserable. I’ve noted that a high proportion of contra dancers wear proper (black) dance shoes. In any case my experiment in intensive dancing in various cute, wardrobe-matched Mary Jane street shoes taught me a lesson, and I promptly reordered a pair of proper dance shoes from International. Happily, this time DHL came thru and even delivered them a couple of days before the promised date. My shopping experience with International has been very pleasant and efficient (excluding DHL’s error). My emailed questions were all answered promptly and courteously. I’m thrilled with my new International dance shoes.”

“Excellent shoes. Minor gripe only in that the were listed online as in stock and I received an email to say there would be a delay as they had none in stock. However the shoes arrived within a few days, well within the new estimated date. Very pleased”
