“I ordered a pair of Dansport standard ballroom shoes for a dance in Blackpool but I probably should have ordered the ICS Classics instead. While the Dansports would be OK for my weekly class, they weren't comfortable enough for a whole evening of dancing. However, the service was fabulous. The order was placed one day and I received a call saying the shoes were ready for collection the next day.”
“This is the first time for me to make an order dance shoes from overseas. I bought B&W shoes with narrow width. It took almost 18 days until delivery. Size of the shoes are a bit longer than I thought, but it is no problem because I ordered smaller size than I usually purchase. The price was quite reasonable. I would like to buy another one again in this site when I need.”
“After ordering my shoes in size 4 regular fitting they arrived promptly....but were far too big. I could get a finger down the back and my foot kept slipping out. I returned these by recorded delivery and paid extra to exchange my shoes to a narrow fitting size 4. My new shoes arrived within the week. But unfortunately the narrow fitting size 4 are still slightly too big...they sit up slightly around the toes and my heel slips. I am hoping a gel insole will help with the fit as I don't want the hassle of sending them back again and the extra cost of recorded delivery again! In the end I think these shoes cost me around £105.00 and with roughly £8.00 recorded delivery its approximately £113.00 all in....for shoes that still don't fit well for me to dance in. I think I will just put this down to an expensive mistake. The quality of the shoes is good but the fit is not. Thanks for getting back to me International Dance Shoes. I will certainly do that. I am baffled by the sizing as in any ordinary shoe I am a size 4 and always have been with no fit issues. If I send you pictures and have a recommendation from yourselves will you refund any additional recorded delivery costs? Also, if I need to get a different size made will I have to pay extra on top of what I have already paid?”

“General experience is great. The website is clear, shoes are easy to choose and are of a good quality. The only downside is the size. They turned out to be a tiny bit short and the regular fit is slightly wide. As they are bespoke shoes, they can’t be exchanged, so for the next order I’ll have to be more careful in regards to fitting.”
“My experience was bad in the beginning but turned out fine after I wrote a horrible review. The company is good and the products they sell are awesome. So, I guess I was a bit unlucky with my first service. I will share the story later. After my review the director from IDS texted me. I felt special, thank you for that. He immidiatly took the shoes back and transferred the money for the shoes. Nevertheless, I lost money (Zoll in Germany and delivery-costs) and time because of the first service-lady. Here’s the story: I needed help so I asked the service which width I need. They told me to measure my feet. I took two pictures and on each of them I put the measure tap on two different parts of my feet. So, THEY can decide which part I need because THEY are the specialists. They told me the size and I ordered on their recommendation. I paid a lot of money because I've ordered from Germany. The shoes were delivered, and they were too big. Way too big. There is no chance to wear them. I texted the service again. We texted a lot and they didn't want to admit that it was their fault. At some point the service said, 'at your PICTURE (singular) there is 22,5 cm'. The service admits that they just looked at one picture (obviously the wrong one) and did not even take the time to read my whole email. I asked them for help, and they did not take me seriously. I pointed out their mistake and said that they did not read my whole e-mail. Even though they should've noticed that I put the measure tab on the wrong part of my feet. They are professionals and should know those things. Meanwhile I learned this after the wrong purchase because I analyzed my feet, the photos, the part where the tab was on my feet compared to which part my other dancing shoes are holding my feet. By the way, I've also sent them a picture wearing my other dancing shoes. After this discovery I guess the service noticed it really was their fault. They’ve sent me a coupon of five dollars (or something like that) FOR MY NEXT PURCHASE. As I said, I guess I was unlucky. The shoes I already owe are from IDS and these are the best dance shoes in my mind. The quality is awesome. I would always decide for this brand again. But next time only if I know exactly my shoe size.”
“As there was no guide or measure concerning width fittings I find that a half size larger would been more comfortable. I have always worn a standard fitting dance shoe from Super dance so maybe your standard fit is a little narrower ?? Perhaps you could comment for me Kelvin Freeman”
“I've bought lovely shoes before so felt confident about buying again. These shoes were in the sale and just what I needed. However one of the sparkly diamantes fell out after a couple of wears, so a little disappointing.”
“Very happy with my shoes! Very quick delivery, and they look excellent! I have not yet tested them on the dance floor, but they do feel quite stable and provide good support. The reason I am giving 4 stars instead of 5 is the strap only - there were not enough holes, I had to make 5 extra, and with the addition of those, the strap was hanging and almost touching to floor. I will need to find a way to shorten it or wrap it around so that it is not aimlessly hanging around and getting twisted around the heel.”
“I've ordered a lot of IDS shoes in the past years, which have always been delivered either into my mailbox or to a pick-up point in town if too large. The first order I made after brexit however was a nightmare. Too keep it short, the problem in the end boiled down to two issues: - The mobile number I put in when ordering was not a French one (I was only temporarily living in France). - With this delivery option, FedEx did not enable pickup at a local point This caused deliveries to automatically fail each time, with FedEx simply rescheduling them upon my inquiries. It was almost a month before the problem was even identified, with a lot of action and energy from my side needed. While a lot of the blame lies with (French) FedEx and their very bad customer service, I held IDS responsible to a point because they should have informed customers of these two crucial conditions with FedEx deliveries - but it turned out they weren't even aware of them. However, they took full responsibility upon my complaint, apologised, promised to act regarding their FedEx contract, and gave me discount code for the next order. I've recently made this second order and everything went absolutely smoothly this time (delivered by DHL). Sometimes problems happen. But how IDS dealt with it shows me they are a responsible company who cares and strives to do well, and I am happy to remain a customer.”

“My shoes ordered on 12.12.16 arrived yesterday 9.1.17. I don't usually order shoes on the internet as I like / need to try them on. Having had fantastic International Dance Shoes previously and struggled to find a suitable style / fitting of dance shoes I ordered over the phone with guidance on the fitting size from a very friendly, knowledgeable customer service man. My Karina - Black Calf/Lilac (Heel: 3" IDS (7.8cm) narrow, fit perfectly and feel comfortable but I will have to have additional holes put into the buckle strap as the last hole isn't secure enough.”
“Great shoes delivered fairly quickly. The finish is to a very high standard and overall I am pleased with shoes. I will still have to stretch the shoes as I have a very broad foot. I would love it if a 3X wide fitting were available in some styles, happy to pay extra. I live too far away to visit and have my foot measured so have to buy off the peg.
