On my previous purchase of the American Flex shoe, the elastic was WAY TOO TIGHT. I had to use a seam ripper to get into the shoe and cut the glued in elastic. It made the shoes bearable although they don't look as good as they should. I only use for practice now.”
“The light weight of the dance shoes is perfect for competition. The design is great too. One comment is that the XG sole is good for slippery floor. It may be a little resistance if dance on some dance floors that are not as slippery.”

Not so quick to respond to my queries this time (emailed twice and had no reply so ended up calling) one of the latin shoes had an air bubble where the fabric had been attached to the heel and there was also a water mark on the shoe, I dealt with the air bubble myself and as I was intending to stone the shoe myself I covered up the water mark. I would expect perfection for these shoes as they were made to order. That said they fit perfectly and are amazingly comfortable.”
