“I was nervous about ordering shoes online since I have wide feet and high insteps. I followed the online instructions for measuring my feet and then asked for and received guidance on how to determine width (by email). The shoes fit perfectly!”

“I've ordered a lot of IDS shoes in the past years, which have always been delivered either into my mailbox or to a pick-up point in town if too large. The first order I made after brexit however was a nightmare. Too keep it short, the problem in the end boiled down to two issues: - The mobile number I put in when ordering was not a French one (I was only temporarily living in France). - With this delivery option, FedEx did not enable pickup at a local point This caused deliveries to automatically fail each time, with FedEx simply rescheduling them upon my inquiries. It was almost a month before the problem was even identified, with a lot of action and energy from my side needed. While a lot of the blame lies with (French) FedEx and their very bad customer service, I held IDS responsible to a point because they should have informed customers of these two crucial conditions with FedEx deliveries - but it turned out they weren't even aware of them. However, they took full responsibility upon my complaint, apologised, promised to act regarding their FedEx contract, and gave me discount code for the next order. I've recently made this second order and everything went absolutely smoothly this time (delivered by DHL). Sometimes problems happen. But how IDS dealt with it shows me they are a responsible company who cares and strives to do well, and I am happy to remain a customer.”

“Very comfortable but not for standard and smooth because the leather doesn't slide as much as their other models. I would suggest for latin only”

“General experience is great. The website is clear, shoes are easy to choose and are of a good quality. The only downside is the size. They turned out to be a tiny bit short and the regular fit is slightly wide. As they are bespoke shoes, they can’t be exchanged, so for the next order I’ll have to be more careful in regards to fitting.”

“I've been buying from International for going on five years and I've officially given up. Sometimes the quality is great, but we've found that there is inconsistently (1 in every 6-8 pairs we order) in the sizing or quality. This is simply not acceptable for the price we pay and with returns overseas being not really an affordable option, we will be taking our business elsewhere.”

“Having bought International Dance Shoes for many years, and been extremely satisfied in the past, I ordered another 2 pairs of a style I had purchased three times previously, in a regular size 8 as usual. When they arrived I found that the sizing had been altered, and what had fitted perfectly in the past was now shorter and narrower at the ends of my toes. I contacted the company and was informed that they had indeed resized the shoes, and if they were now too small, I would need to order a bespoke size 8.5 (or perhaps a size 9), at the increased cost of a bespoke shoe, with no possibility of trying a pair to see if they might fit, and with no possibility of a refund if they don't.”

“Shoes (for both ladies and men) are very well made, confortable to wear and with reliable measurements; excellent costumer service (I forgot to add heel protectors to my order and I could add them later). Quick shipping (made to order in 9 days) in Italy, and easy delivery via DHL”

“I was delivered on time. I took the wide option but it is barely what it takes basic its shoes must be quite narrow. It's also a pity that we don't have the choice of smaller heels. But otherwise the shoes are very good.”

“Yay! finally found the most stable and comfortable dancing shoes, I normally get foot blisters with my skin being sensitive, surprisingly I never had one with IDS shoes even during break in. Arrived earlier than expected even with customizations. The shoes are very beautiful. Can't wait to order again, hope there will be new designs coming.”
