“Delivery was promised a day when I was waiting for few hours intending to do gardening job, later received a message from driver that 'nobody in'. It sounded amazing because I was waiting in the front garden. So, just wasted time. Finally, was delivered day after much time resolving this with delivery company on phone. Have not got any excuse from both.”

“I ordered Albert Bartlett Vivaldi seed potatoes which have arrived and look good, however… I chose them as they were listed in the Main Crop section of the website and sounded good. It is main crop that I want as i already have earlies in and want some to store over winter. However on the label attached to the bag, it states that they are second earlies. I used the web form to submit a query and got no reply, so emailed and got no reply. Very disappointing. They are still listed as Main Crop on the website.”

“Good afternoon, Unfortunately I am disappointed with the seed potatoes. The sizes are not as expected from large to tiny. Having compared seed potatoes at our local Garden Centre which appears to be size graded and to be far better than the four bags I purchased directly from yourselves, Disappointed”

“I haven’t received my order yet . According to the delivery website it’s been delivered . It hasn’t been delivered and there’s no photo to prove it. Should of been delivered on the 15/04/24.”

“Not received my delivery in full. Have sent an email no response, sent a Facebook message no response. Will now try and claim partial refund from PayPal. Disgusting customer service”

“I ordered Peat but I don’t think what was delivered was peat. I done a Ph test and the Ph was 7. Peat should have a Ph of around 4.5. I did send an email but had no response so until I get clarification then it’s only 1 star until then.”

“I bought shallot and onion sets from them and about 25% were rotten. Whe I emailed them I didn't even get an acknowledgement. Just a survey entitled "We value your opinion" clearly not as no response to that either!”

“i am surprised to be asked to write a review because i have already made it clear to your company i am extremely disappointed with the quality of the items i purchased. I have been given a monetary refund i didnt wamt. i would rather have a replacement of the shallots i bought but basically because your staff member could not be sure a replacement pack would be any better i get a refund. ?????. do you have quality control.? meanwhile time has passed. thanks Jamiesons”

“I didn't want to give you a rating because this is not your fault directly, but I have had to. I ordered compost to arrive when I was at home and able to direct where it was to go.This was based on delivery being 2/3 working days as stated. It actually arrived 6 working days later when I was away. It was dumped in the road and I had to move it bag by bag a long way to where I wanted it. I am 75 years old and don't need this. A very poor show!”

“Not very impressed. Paid £84 for delivery and had to Unload 32 bags of compost as pallet didn’t fit on pump truck. Not very good service.”

“I purchased 10 kondor seed potatoes (£20) they were absolute rubbish 4 of them were the size of a 50pcoin and they were all riddled with holes. How they were ever classed as certified seed is beyond me. They weren't even fit for the compost heap . People on Facebook also thought the same”

“Placed order before new year-not received it yet.Delivery address was correct but postcode not quite right. Surely with an address your courier should have enough intelligence to find correct post code and then deliver.Yours in hope Trevor Watts”

“Having expressly asked for my order to arrive post my holiday Royal Mail delivered it early sent it back to you and then you refunded me! No red onions this year!”
