About Jaques of London:
In 1795 Thomas Jaques took on his 15-year-old son, John as an apprentice. Together they established ‘Thomas Jaques: Manufacturer of Ivory, Hardwoods, Bone and Tunbridge Ware’ in Hatton Garden. We have remained a family run business ever since, with the same unwavering passion for quality games and toys.

Today we are ever-expanding our toy range and have been honoured with over 10 awards in the past five years as a result. Our Mini Minds Hub launched in 2020 to encourage learning at home. This is now stocked with over 150 free resources. We’ve been working for over 230 years to fill the world with more joy and we hope to keep striving for that goal long into the future. “I have ordered several games from JAQUES to play with my grandchildren. The games are extremely well made and designed to last. Quality wood and finish on the board games. I intend to leave them in my Will to my grandchildren so that they can play them with their children.”

“I ordered 3 of an item and received 1. JAQUES quickly rectified this issue in time for Christmas. The individual boxes haven’t been opened yet. I bought a bagatelle in the past and it’s really lovey.”

“Keep sending me emails about that goods should arrive before Christmas ..Still waiting for my order placed at beginning of Dec!!! Was disappointed but spoke to a lovelylady yasmin who sent me a replacement which arrived next day don't know what happened to 1storder thank-you”

“I have bought a few items from Jaqyes of London and have never been disappointed. They arrive very well packaged and ready to gift and are always made to an extremely high standard. They have an appealing appearance to children, being finished with lovely colours. On the one occasion a toy arrived slightly broken, it was replaced immediately after I emailed my concern and replacement arrived very quickly and in excellent condition. The customer service is second to none as are the products they supply”

“You can always depend on Jacques to supply excellent toys for children. Although I bought these items for Christmas and they haven't yet been gifted, I know that my niece and nephew will absolutely love them. Gifts are also, as usual, beautifully packaged. Thank you!”
