About Jaques of London:
In 1795 Thomas Jaques took on his 15-year-old son, John as an apprentice. Together they established ‘Thomas Jaques: Manufacturer of Ivory, Hardwoods, Bone and Tunbridge Ware’ in Hatton Garden. We have remained a family run business ever since, with the same unwavering passion for quality games and toys.

Today we are ever-expanding our toy range and have been honoured with over 10 awards in the past five years as a result. Our Mini Minds Hub launched in 2020 to encourage learning at home. This is now stocked with over 150 free resources. We’ve been working for over 230 years to fill the world with more joy and we hope to keep striving for that goal long into the future. “Love the wooden toys, very well made and decorated - much nicer than plastic. I am sure my great grandson will be as delighted as I am. Delivery as expected, with both Jaques of London and delivery company keeping me up to date. Items well packaged for delivery.”

“So far my experience is sadly not great! Order has still not arrived after 10 days since dispatch. As per website I allowed 7 days then contacted them, was advised they would contact the courier and 3 days later I have still heard nothing (despite sending another email chasing yesterday). I would have expected better!!”
