“I was very disappointed wth the service I received from J Parkers Ireland.
The order took some time to arrive. I was disappointed that the root balls of all the plants were very dry and crumbling. I am somewhat surprised at this considering the delivery journey is only about 50 miles. I believe that due to the fact the root balls were dry some of the leaves had begun to turn brown and I had to remove some of them. I soaked the plants well before planting out and I await to see if they remain healthy and thrive. If this turns out not to be the case I will contact J Parkers Ireland again and will expect that they will replace any items that fail to grow.
Plants are an expensive item and I would have expected the product to be in better condition on arrival, especially considering the short transport distance.
I contacted J Parkers Ireland directly by e-mail and found the standard of customer service was very unsatisfactory. I would have expected the company to have replaced the below-standard plants without further delay.”
