“APN data didnt download correctly. And it was difficult to get the app working, either because it was restricted in China or some other reason. It would be good if APN settings were send alongwith e-sim in the email, incase manual intervention is needed.”

“So far i have used KnowRoaming in several European Countries, the UK, South Africa, Australia and Indonesia. It has never failed me and is incredibly easy to top up after you've conecto terms with the first one (which can require another device to set up). This is my preferred best value eSim.”

“Once it gets connected it works well. But I had a difficult time on a road trip from Canada to the U.S. (B.C. to Idaho). My eSIM wouldn't work. I used the chat WhatsApp feature with Knowroaming but it took 2hrs of work to figure it out. My eSIM was trying to connect with a tower in Canada even though I was 100 miles south of the border. I had to turn off automatic provider connections and manually select AT&T. That got it working.”

“Fairly easy to use. In Indonesia I had some problems as sometimes the connection was really bad. Never had this problem in the US”

“Worked seemlessly after intallation, which was a bit more complicated than merely swtching on the new eSIM. If you're somewhat tech savvy, I would recommend it. I wouldn't suggest for my mom, as I had to delve into the settings menu and make adjustments outside of the user guide, to initiate the service.”

“Used it in 4 countries last 2 months. Worked perfectly in london, doha and dubai, but it didn't work in India Calicut area. But the support team did the troubleshooting, as calicut was remote area they couldn't provide 5g service . Therefore they offered full refund. Will use it in future also”

“The eSIM was easily installed on my phone, and worked perfectly when I turned it on in London, England. It then worked perfectly when we flew to Italy. However, I couldn't get it to work for our short layover in Istanbul, Turkey..not sure why.”

“The sim was good. The biggest issue and why I wouldn't recommend it to say my parents is the need to know how to scan a QR code off your own screen. Depending on the phone this is a difficult and unnecessary task. 5 stars if it wasn't for that.”

“Did not work when we arrived in Turkey. It was sorted quickly with help once we were back on hotel wifi, but it will be great if you somehow can test it before hand.”
