I would recommend this training for people who are exclusively CAD/draftsman. I would not recommend it for machinists who are looking to use it as a manufacturing tool. One of the bullet point items in the class description on the ledet website states : "Use the 3D print workflows to create a rapid prototype or the CAM workspace to create toolpaths to machine components" This is not in the curriculum, so it wasnt taught, as a machinist; this is what I was hoping to glean from the class but it did not happen.

This training format works for some learners, but not all. The format was more conversational, using PDF documents that our organization provided. The facilitator is very knowledgeable and patient (perfect for training folks on troubleshooting), but not as effective at training people with first-time exposure to tools like the accessibility checker.

Tony was friendly. It would've been nice for a bit more structure and seemed he was learning with us. That's ok but it didn't seem like InDesign wasn't really his choice of program/not often used. The first day was helpful but by the second day it didn't seem like there was much for us to learn. We don't know what we don't know so doing some more full examples using everything we learned all together would be beneficial to help us put our skills to use at the end and ask questions if we run into issues or come up with other questions for things we'd like to learn.

The training was a bit too long. I think the same information could have been provided in half of the time scheduled. I also feel that it might be more helpful to have this as a video with a Q&A session in the end/similar.

I was certainly made aware of some new features that I can utilize in developing Accessible content; however, I think the information presented over the course of this essentially six-hour session could have been instead delivered as a sort of pre-reading/specific assignment. From the correspondences received ahead of the training, it was unclear to me just how interactive of a session this would be. I was expecting that we would be given instructions to edit content a certain way, and then check in periodically to see if we encountered any issues. Instead, we essentially listened to the same individual speak nearly non-stop as they walked through Accessibility elements as they related to specific sample documents. The takeaway is that this process is highly subjective depending on the content one works with, so to sit through a specific example instead of being able to play around with our own content in real-time and have support for questions, like an office hour, was monotonous and dry.

It would really depend on who the instrustor would be if I would recommend the class

There were many issues at the beginning of the class that delayed the start and several of the people attending the intermediate class seemed like it was more advanced than they were prepared for and really slowed everything down. I do not believe that we met all objectives of the items we were supposed to learn during the class.

I do not know if I would reccomend because I feel like you don't learn enough for how much you pay

First and foremost, I thought the instructor seemed like a great person and was kind enough to answer everyone's questions thoroughly. He also clearly knew what he was talking about and was knowledgeable about all Adobe programs as a whole. However, I felt that there was one student in particular who was monopolizing the class and asking questions that either did not pertain to the class as a whole or asking questions about concepts that the instructor had already gone over. I appreciate that the instructor wanted to get everyone's questions answered, but I did not feel that the class moved as efficiently/effectively as it should have because he was constantly having to repeat himself. One important concept for students to understand is that a big part of using a program like this is knowing that there will be trial and error involved, as well as personal troubleshooting before bringing up an issue to the entire class. "If you did everything exactly how I did, and you aren't getting the same result, either backtrack or control Z and Undo it and try again." Personally, I did not feel that we got much done on Day 1 of the class- just inserting a text box with a picture behind it. I have already been using the program daily for about a month for work and have much I wanted to learn. I felt we may have spent a bit too much time on Day 1 on abstract concepts versus actually going into the program. For example- we spent a significant amount of time on CMYK vs. RGB. While this is an important concept, this is likely something that will also be discussed at people's specific workplaces, and that time could've been spent going into InDesign and discussing what a workspace is, what all the tools do, what pages are and how to add pages, etc. (basics). Again, there are 1000000000 things to learn in the program and we could take classes for years and still not learn everything, so it is more a matter of prioritizing what is most universally important within the program itself.

Power outages and AC not working made things tough. Davin did a fantastic job running the class.

I believe the course would be incredibly beneficial for someone who had absolutely no prior experience with Adobe Suite, but since I was pretty familiar with other Adobe applications the course felt a little slow for me. I still learned some new things though!

I have nothing to say here.

The training was very good. My overall satisfaction was negatively impacted because the training did not include access to the recorded sessions. Without the ability to refer to that resource, the value of the training fell significantly.

Ledet Training has a vast amount of subjects and resources all in one area not found anywhere else. This is the first Ledet training class I took, which is not as popular as other classes offered. I would like to take other Ledet training classes, to improve my overall satisfaction. I also feel If a class is offered online, the cost of that class should be reduced significantly, as the training facility does not have to supply a brick-and-mortar facility classroom, supporting staff, computers, software, electricity, heat or air conditioning etc. which saves Ledet Training a significant amount of money, the cost is transferred to the students who now need to set up their one training environments. I will leave it up to Ledet Training if they want to contact me about the class evaluation. I don't need someone to contact me, as the class is over and there is nothing I can do.

I would recommend Ledet Training to others. The material/information for class was given with plenty of time before the day of the class. All links worked well.

It was very difficult to organize the class. The date that was listed on the website was not available, etc. I would have liked the opportunity to create a video from start to finish.

I liked getting a paper book in the mail.
