I bought the unlimited data bundle, then when I topped up they charged all my top up on data saying that I had not renewed the bundle which was a flat out lie. I bought the top up within 24 hours of my bundle expiring, they acted very dishonestly and in my opinion the terms are misleading by design and they profit from deceptive practices. They refused at first to let me speak to a manager, and then kept me waiting an extremely long time. The call center was not just rude but unreasonable in their behaviour.

I rarely pen reviews, but the experience I have had with Lyca Customer Care over the past week leaves me no choice. It has been nothing short of abysmal. I have been in a constant struggle to receive an activation code for my service plan, a process that should be fairly straightforward and instantaneous. To my disbelief, after seven long days and multiple calls to customer service daily, the issue remains unresolved. Their customer service team appears to have mastered the art of lip service, assuring me repeatedly to 'wait another 24 hours' for a solution. Even escalating the issue to a supervisor brought no respite, only the same tired refrain. Such repetitive non-resolutions have left me disillusioned and exasperated with their supposed 'service'. Moreover, their consistent failure to provide a solution has placed me in an awkward position, as I've had to rely on my neighbors' phones to contact Lyca's Customer Care. This regrettable situation has not only tarnished my reputation but has also made me question the credibility of Lyca as a service provider. The customer service team at Lyca seems to lack the basic understanding that prompt and efficient service is not a luxury but a fundamental expectation of their customers. Their indifferent attitude towards the very customers they are supposed to serve is concerning and begs the question of what the term 'customer care' truly means to them. Based on my experience, I'm forced to give Lyca Customer Care a rating of 1 out of 5 stars. My recommendation for anyone considering Lyca is to proceed with caution, if at all. The frustration and inconvenience I've endured make it hard for me to envision a scenario where I could recommend Lyca to anyone in good conscience. In the end, good customer service isn't just about resolving issues, but also about respecting the customer's time and dignity. Unfortunately, Lyca seems to be failing on all these counts. It's a bitter pill to swallow, given my initial optimism about their service. I can only hope that my experience serves as a wake-up call for Lyca to improve their customer service drastically.

I was in Northern Ireland (Belfast) and I bought an unlimited volume for 1 month for phone and internet for £30 from a "Spar" store. The seller was so nice and helped me unlock the SIM card and the package. 20 minutes later we checked the balance and it was only 20p left. We called the hotline and they just said we should have called a specific number first and had the unlimited pack activated. All attempts to get my credit or my money back were unsuccessful. I would have expected such an experience in a third world country but not in an European Country. They have neither replied nor refund me. They advised me only to buy a new data package, unbelievable. Just keep your hands off! Huge rip off!!! Never again !!!

Worst experience as a customer in a very long time. Paid 50 pounds in london for a sim, was supposed to allow me to roam in Europe. It worked 1% of the time. Do not use this company, they have offered nothing in response to my repeated requests for help over 3 weeks.

Low price advertised for sim. Paid via PayPal. Next screen was for yet another charge exactly the same via a credit card. Got nothing for my PayPal payment. Got refused refund. Got nothing. False advertising. Avoid at all costs.

Все началось с того, что мне понадобилось отключить свою карту и привязать другую (Никель банка). Ее подключить не удалось, решил воспользоваться опцией пополнения баланса с PayPal. Опция есть, пополнить невозможно. Каким-то образом удалось это сделать. Выбираю свой же тариф, чтобы снова подключить, используя пополненный баланс. Не тут-то было. Пишу в техподдержку. Спустя около 10 писем переписок мне сообщают короткий код, но не тот! я его ввожу, не ожидаю чего-то неправильного. Активируется совсем другой пакет данных! Списываются день с Никель банка! Однако его нельзя было подключить ранее! Как же так? Пишу в ответ, какой правильный код - ничего не отвечают внятно. В итоге, я проходил с этим подключенным тарифом целый месяц специально, чтобы по окончанию его подключить свой. Мне уже в техподдержке прислали код. Ввожу код на телефоне *139*10002# и мне сообщается, что этот код невозможно активировать, приходите на сайт и выбирайте там! То есть у меня на балансе есть деньги, но я их не могу никак потратить! Я никогда не встречал такого оператора, который полностью не работает как надо со своими клиентами. Мало того, что операторы поддержки ничего не дают (их не учат), так еще не работают их же инструкции! В итоге у меня с баланса списались 51 евро за то, что я пользовался мобильным интернетом, хотя я даже не подозревал, что он работает! Я был в полной уверенности, что пока я не подключу новый тариф ничего работать не будет. Сказать, что я зол – ничего не сказать. Просто ужасный сервис! В итоге я потерял деньги, время, нервы, остался без связи. Выводы делайте сами

This is INHUMANE! Please read, so you do not fall into this trap. I joined Lycambobile, sim only deal, over a week ago. I received the sim and new number and text several family/friends my new number. However, this new number had been previously used and was blocked on WhatsApp, attached to it, a photo of what appeared to be a stock image of an Asian girl. I therefore ported my old number across to Lycamobile, hasslefree! HERE’S WHAT THEY DON’T TELL YOU – because I had text several people, they deemed this as extravagant and blocked my number immediately. I spoke to customer service and explained that later that day I would need to speak with my son to find out which train he was getting back from school. Customer service told me it would be resolved in 1 hour, but that I would need to send a copy of my passport to verify (desperate, I very stupidly did this). Six hours later, and my phone still blocked, I spoke to another 25+ agents/bots online, all of which frustratingly terminated the conversation before getting anywhere. I called again from my work Teams number, by now very distressed that I can’t contact my son. The customer services agent told me there was nothing he could do and that it would take 24-48 hours and that I should seek help by using a stranger’s phone! 1 week later… my phone is still blocked!! I have called customer service again today, for a PAC code to transfer my number to elsewhere, as I need a provider that I can actually use. They refused to give me this over the phone, stating I need to send a text. I can’t!! my phone is blocked!! They advised I send an email, that will take 24-48 hours. Erm… if the last 24-48 hour saga is anything to go off I could be waiting forever. Meanwhile unable to contact my ill father or my child. I have had to seek help from the Police. I have read other comments and reviews, saying they have been unable to get a PAC code. Where to go from here???

I'm using ASUS ,ZENFONE9 and Lycamobile doesn't support for mobile web settings. APN setting not available for ASUS mobile. Please update the software Thanks

Hello all, I would like to share my experience with Lycamobile. So, I decided to port in my existing phone number to them and now I am stuck big time. They offer the worst customer services, their agents are extremely rude, untrained, and hang up the phone themselves without resolving issues. I don't want to stay with them and have been calling them to provide me a port out or a transfer pin which they provide after their pathetic verification process which requires frequently dialed phone numbers and every time I provide them with the right ones to which they respond I failed to verify and call us back again. This company is harassing me every time I call them. So far, I have been waiting for 4 days and called them over 10 times. I want to make you aware of their unethical behavior towards customers. In their policy, they could verify the information by asking me for a security pin which pretty much every other company does. This is not really what I was looking for.

I wanted to activate XS bundle and i topped up with 5 euro .It was not allow to activate this plan ,so i called the customer service .They said in two hours time it will work if not call them back.Two hours time it still wasnt working but when i called them the customer service was closed ,so it was a lie from the very beginning.Next morning i tried again to activate this bundle it wasnt working but my 5 euro just disappeared from my balance .I was ripped off when i called customer service they did not refund they said i have to wait another 24 hours .They stole my money .

Very suspicious activity from this company & the app. I was wrongfully charged several times after leaving the UK & cancelling the Auto renewal. My credit card details were saved without my permission even though my account was only prepaid. It's very difficult to contact them from overseas. Very dodgy business practices.

Lyca is probably the most ridiculously incompetent mobile provider I have ever worked with. I have had service with many MVNOs but Lyca "lost" my number when it got ported, somehow got it several days later, required a PIN they never sent me, and their help desk is useless at best. The service is very inexpensive but I wouldn't ever switch to Lyca ever again, even if they paid me. Absolutely terrible.

Hello, This is regarding reference number 95186134. Concern 1: Requested refund due to no service in the last 3 months. Refund denied because the sim was said to be purchased 6 months ago from the store, while the sim was purchased online. I had complained that for the last 3 months, my phone number is not working properly, unable to manually register on the network, and am unable to use mobile data. Your customer tried troubleshooting but could not resolve the issue. I requested for refund and I was told that a refund can not be made because This sim card was purchased from a store and not online. Question to Lyca mobile and CEO: Does it matter if I bought the sim from the store or online? You are my service provider and not the store owner. BTW I did buy it online and below is the order number and reference number. Concern 2: Turned off the Auto-renewal before the next due date, but mysteriously Lyca mobile turned on the auto-renew from their backend systems and charged me. I had called several times in last 4 weeks to troubleshoot the technical issue with my Lyca phone number that was not working. Before my next renewal date, I called up and requested the agent to turn off my auto-renewal. The agent told me that I could do it myself. I requested please stay on the call and guide me through the steps. While I was on the call I turned off auto-renewals myself. But a few days later I saw the charge on my card. If you are reading this post on some social media, please, please do not buy a Lyca mobile. If you happen to buy please do not enter your payment information into their system. These guys are frauds. behind the scene turning on auto-renewal without the customer's consent and charging the customer is illegal as well. Request to Lyca mobile CEO and Lyca mobile support team. Request 1: Please watch the usage of my phone number from Aug to Nov. now compare to usage from Dec to Feb. What you would notice is that Between Aug to Dec, there will be at least 30-50 calls per month and substantial data usage. While in Dec to Feb, you would see only 3-5 calls per month and very little data usage may be 3-4 hours in the entire period. This is because the number was not working. Refund me the money for the period since services stopped working for me. Request 2: The auto-renew charge that's done in mid-march is fraudulent please revert that.

I took the offer to switch from another network to Lycamobile, the offer unlimited call texts and data for a reduced price of 10 euros for the next 11 months. Unfortunately, after a month the contract expired despite the fact that funds were available in the account. After contacting customer service, I was offered the same offer only for the price of 20 euros. Pure scam, do not recommend please avoid.

I did not want to even give 1 , lycra is a fraudulent network, it is a proper disgusting a disgrace, why even offer your product when you have to pay to put a bundle on and still I can't get the bundle on as it has taken money of my balance just to say the least , this is a drug dealers network , every thing is criminal about this network, and I think its based in Pakistan or some were like that as when you phone customer service u can not even understand what they say , and have to ask to keep repeating them self , am disgusting with this , I would never tell no 1 to go on lycra I don't even know why they still operate, every 1 who I know have had problems with lycra , to the point they take more money out your account, they do 4 direct debits from your bank account for 1 number, they are rude , u can't understand what they say. I feel like going to get legal help this is how disgusting this network is.
