“The worst customer service I have ever dealt with. There isn't an option to actually talk to someone , or if there is it is extremely hard to find. Firstly I bought a SIM in Norway . It couldn't be activated in my phone. It took over 36 hours of frustration to finally get it sorted. Here in vacation for 6 weeks and it was for one month, tried to top up service but couldn't find any way to do that and roll over balance.
I would never recommend this company.”

“They are such a lier . I bough a bundle of 12 months . Then they change your network and there is no network at my work place not any i even can not get a call or message . I was missed alot of important call from doctor and school etc I called customer service. I told them that and asked them for a refund the rest of my bundle . I do not mind to pay whatever i used but i need the rest of it to refund as their network is no use for me . They said they will refund me and it will be no more than 1 day but after 1 week i did not receive any refund then they emailed me that they can not refund me . Rubish network and customer service . Aware if you want something long term to them”

“Absolutely regretting the move from EE. They encourage you to top up more than you need to get free credit but the small print says it expires after 90 days. So I’ve now got £40 credit that will expire before I’ve used £12.
Customer service tell me not to be concerned but then confirm it will expire. Sigh.
I can’t even buy bolt ons with the credit!

Their robochat can't help and says the humans can't talk right now!! One number rings out. The other I was on hold for 59 minutes and then that rang out too. “I called lyca customer service and the person was EVER SO RUDE. Never met such a rude team member of such. They couldn’t help me and it’s not the first time i’m having issues with this network. I asked to speak to a manager and they refused and ontop of that they couldn’t provide me with details of their name. I’ve had this issue for many days I have bought a sim card with 5GB for £3.00 yet it doesn’t work and the team members haven’t been useful. So disappointed in the team members they have no respect whatsoever”

It first started with not Being Able to Register to the Network either Lyca or O2.

Then I keep getting a message saying ' to keep on using imessage and facetime - take out and replace your sim' - his happens on an almost daily basis.
I have never before had problems with my phone. No problems with previous subscriptions - Tesco mobile and id mobile but I chose a new supplier! Well you get what you pay for and I've had nothing but trouble with lyca mobile.”
“Unfortunately I have had no success with Lyca Denmark.
I am travelling from Australia and had researched their offers prior to travelling. It all looked very easy. So I picked up a SIM card from the airport, loaded an All-in-one plan easily online. Then the problems started. We had internet but no calls or SMS. Went back to the guy at the airport who tried to help but he said must be an issue with our Australian handsets. As I had opted for auto renewal I went online to try to turn this option off and I couldn't login to an account. I then sent a help request to Lyca and it took around a week to have the issue sorted.
30 days later I stupidly decided to recharge with a data plan only. The internet worked for approx 4 days then just stopped in the middle of me hotspotting my laptop.
Once again I reached out for support via email. No response for a week. In the meantime I called the support line and spoke to an arrogant person who wouldn't listen to my full story. Eventually I had to insist that he escalate my issue. Five days later I have heard nothing. No internet now for over a week, not good when travelling.”
“Have used Lycamobile international SIM in the past with no problems. Unfortunately, while voice and messaging worked okay overseas this year, the data package was unusable (thought it worked when tested in the US). Very frustrating. Attempted to contact customer service, butethe provided number did not work (outside of the US).”
“Absolutely RIPS through data. Using a pay as you go Sim and it somehow used up 25gigs in one day. ONE DAY. AND I was constantly turning the data off throughout the day. Three times it did it, all zapping through data in a day. Absolute scabbey money grabbers. My Sim back home is 25 gigs for a month and I maybe use 5? Scummy money grabbing company.”

“Have had no phone for a week after their so called upgrade. No communication at all to let customers know in fact they were moving from 02 to 3. There is no 3 service here so utterly useless. Bought the 30-day package at Heathrow. After 8 days the SIM completely stopped working. The only way to get through to any support service was to log onto the online chat, where the customer care reps simply disconnected me after I explained the problem. Dont touch them!!!! Use any other service”
