“Failed to Port in after supplying Lyca with a PAC number. Lyca requested I send another PAC one month later as original was out of date. Took two payments from my account despite not connecting me. Failed to refund payments and couldn't track payments in their system after two months. Avoid, at all cost, absolutely abismal business and the worse customer service I have ever experienced.”
“Worst experience ever had....I understood I bought a monthly sim only with 5gb data and unlimited calls and texts....after 3 months it went to £3-90....what a shambles of an outfit.....sim in for two days and no network connected....NO CUSTOMER SERVICE available because they have such a POOR unreliable network problem.....it seems they have no capable being of sorting it out....this company should NOT be allowed to trade IMO..., it's tells me no credit after paid....no connection....number not supported......so many breakdowns in communication.....and this is a communications company ?????? come on......tell the truth !!! maybe the name should be changed to LYAR because all I see so far for the sim I paid for is a rip off...other providers GIVE A FREE SIM...these charge you for a sim they con you into buying telling it has a package with it....and it clearly doesnt though NO ONE SEEMS TO HAVE ANY IDEA AT LYCA as you can't get in touch with them because it's a shambles of a company.......I WANT OUT BEFORE IT EVEN TRIES TO START,....as clearly they are incapable of operating in any decent up front way...........my advice is STAY AWAY.....I made a big mistake by paying them money.....regret ever hearing of LYCA...the worlds worst provider”

I moved across to Lycamobile from Plusnet Mobile because Plusnet were closing down its Mobile Phone Business. I ported across my phone number. Within days I went from having no spam calls to having upto 10 automated Chinese speaking spam calls a day and it's getting worse. I am blocking numbers but new numbers appear everyday. I am having to move to another provider and get rid of my phone number that I have had for years. I believe Lycramoble have added my private number to some kind of directory or sold my number to a marketing company. I never had junk calls in years but within a few days of being with them I have been inundated and had to turn the sim off.”
“When my internet connection failed I contacted their customer service. they apologised and promised it would be fixed...it wasn't. I called again and they told me it would be escalated...it wasn't. I called again and this time I was given a complaint number and told I would be called within 24 hours...I wasn't. Lyca Mobile is a sham company staffed by congenital liars. “Lyca is a biggest scam in the UK. Their customer service is non-existent, prices are way to high & refund policy-Lyca doesn’t believe in.
I purchased Lyca Sim & 20GB data for £11 & followed all the instructions.
On the first day I made 4 local mobile calls & 3 text messages, the next day I was unable to make phone calls or send text messages. I was informed by the customer service, there is no credit left. In one day 20 GB data just vanished (no social media, no playing games or watching utubes). This proved to be the most expensive deal.
Made numerous calls & emails to voice my concerns over 10 days, resulting in inconsiderate responses each time. Lyca Mob Co is a big scam & day light robbery.”

Received an unlimited SIM on 22 August 23. Used it for just over a day, well tried to. Service was unusable despite good coverage on the coverage checker.
I complained on 24 Aug 23. They agreed to refund under my 14 day cooling off period.
I have not received a refund so I chased them. They are now refusing to refund and just keep terminating chat sessions.
I have complained to the ADR scheme (lyca won't even provide a deadlock letter) and submitted a claim on my credit card. I will be chasing this up with trading standards as well.
It is illegal for you to break the law as you are doing.”
“Run far away from Lycamobile. Their sales representative gave me false information so that I would buy the service, which didn't work at all. If only English-speaking, customer service will not speak to you on the phone and only directs you to the Chat bot. I spent 3 months speaking with customer service to resolve the issue, repeatedly providing the information they requested over and over again to obtain a refund. Getting no where, I had to switch suppliers, upon which they then refused to proceed at all will the refund. An absolute scam and theft.”

“Worst and cheating experience: I have a plan with auto renewal activated. Recently on 8/18 I purchased $20 internal credit and when I checked my balance I noticed there is no internal credit balance. Without my permission they moved that amounts as special bundle purchase (when my auto renewal is active) when I contacted customer care the guy took the phone stated it would be refunded and asked to purchase another international credit. I did so on 8/24 within one hour that amount also vanished from international credit.
When I contacted customer service they were rude and not ready to refund my $40. Be have very cheating experiences from Lycamobile USA. BE careful and watchful of your money with Lyca mobile USA. They have rude customer service personnel.”
