Have had a lot of issues more recently. Could not get filing assistant to work. When trying to get the issue resolved, spent a lot of time looking at Outlook issues rather than fixing problem in Mail Manager. Now it looks like filing assistant is gone. We also keep losing filing locations. Mail manager consumes large amounts of resources in background if you don't have settings at optimal. Hoping future releases are more stable.

2 stars are given to the product itself - great product that works exactly how we need it to. Until it doesn't, then you need support which is where the minus 3 stars come in. Slow, don't read your emails in full, don't respond to all emails, I've got parts of a support outstanding for 3 weeks now. Often your tickets go completely ignored by the first level of support and only when you escalate it do you get passed to the second line of support who are marginally better. And we pay for the pleasure of this dreadful support. When we first purchased our licences many years ago support package was optional, now they make it mandatory each year but do not give a better level of support in return.

As a single user only, other that being able to file and search for emails, its use is limited. I cant use the app on my mobile, if I file emails and I want to delete emails, I have to close down outlook and then re-open. Rather a lot per month for its limited use.

Great product, but disappointing you cant buy a one-off fixed licence. No updates. As such monthly fee makes if expensive.

Great when it is working. I have to restart Outlook once or twice a day as Mail Manager encounters 'problems' and fails. Have been advised to delete .OST files and if that doesn't work recreate Outlook profile. Really? Think I'll put up with it crashing twice a day as delving into IT is not my day job.

The program is useful but the service is from the team at mail manager is rubbish. I have complained about the same problem repeatedly and still no resolution but they are forever asking me to renew my maintenance subscription - which I refuse to do.

It's actually pretty good (I used to use Edocs), but obviously still has some rough edges under development: Eg. After filing, Move to Filed Items; if you tick "And file the message I'm replying to" MM also files the original message which is good but doesn't also move it to "Filed Items" -it doesn't even appear in deleted items (this is a serious flaw). Also it would be nice to add a delayed send feature. I know I can achieve this with a rule in outlook but it's a bit fiddly. WTF: the questions on this form are about Postal/Courier services -I thought Mail manage was software for emails?

Hi S.P. Thanks for your review, we're glad you're enjoying the use of Mail Manager. The point you've made about the email you've received not going into Filed Items has been picked up by our Development Team and should be changed in a future release! If you ever spot anything like this or would like us to assist in any way, please just drop an email to support@mailmanager.com and we'll assist wherever we can and get anything like this fed back to our Development Team. Vikki.

Very repayable and friendly tool but always 2 step behind the technology it design to serve. (MS Outlook)

Program does what is says, but has many limitations and currently does not support Outlook Mobile. Support starts out great, then is followed by lack of communication and shady representatives saying one thing and doing another. Rollout has been very cumbersome at our company. The "suggested" configuration by Mail Manager is very restrictive and annoying. Forced prompting to file every email opened and sent is very irritating. While I am not the final decision maker at my company, I am an influencer. Hopefully we can find a better alternative once the license expires.

Hi, thank you for your feedback. I'm sorry to hear that you've had issues with implementation and support. We'd like to hear more about this if you're happy to contact your Account Manager with more detail? You'll be pleased to hear that we're currently testing a web version of Mail Manager, that will work on Outlook365 (including the mobile version), as well as a Mail Manager mobile app which is due for release next quarter. I appreciate there is a learning curve and the prompt can seem disruptive at first. The reason you're prompted to file when sending or closing an email is to ensure the email is filed correctly and you have a reliable audit trail, so you can rely on the information in future if you or a colleague need to go back to it for any reason. The automation of this prompt means that filing is naturally included in your workflow, while also giving you control over how the email is filed. It's worth mentioning that the more you file, the more the software will learn your filing habits and the more accurate the prompt suggestions will become. I hope this helps. If you'd to talk about anything in more detail please feel free to contact your Account Manager. Many Thanks, Alex

I find it more frustrating than anything. I have 5000 emails, and whenever I try to batch file things it locks up or just doesn't execute. So in reality I have to file old emails 1 by 1......... Also customer service keeps referring to me as Blaine, and this survey even says Blaine - I am not Blaine.

Heavy on system resources, not massively flexible, relies too much on end users rather than automatic based on subject line keys. Doesn't work with App versions of Outlook

Hi there! Thank you for providing us with some valuable feedback. We have spoken to our support team and they have advised me that our development team have made the software as highly tuned as they can make it, and have advised for you to take a look at the troubleshooting information as one of these steps might improve your speed issue. We really appreciate the feedback surrounding the AI part of the software, this is something that we are working on so in the near future we hope for things to be much more automated. In the meantime, we are actually running totally free Monthly Training Webinars on the first Wednesday of every month at 4pm and we think some extra best practice training might be good for the existing users to make sure they are filing every time, there also might be some helpful tips on the webinar they weren’t aware of!

Inconsistent success in saving. I have to save every message twice to be sure that it is saved to its destination and to get the subject line stamp to appear/remain. Pretty dumb problem to have, so I'm not thrilled with this product.

Filing frequently seems to freeze my computer. This is a relatively recent problem (approx 3 months).
