“every time I order stuff from modelers central I get the wrong stuff. It is usually something I can use in the future but is not what I ordered. This time I recieved the wrong props. So in future I'll have to shop elsewhere”

“I ordered two brass pedestals for a display stand. They were described on the website as having 5mm slots. When I got them the slots were only 4mm. I sent an email about the problem, but no reply for a few days so I sent another with a comment about customer service. They replied saying the first email went to junk mail and then a smug statement that I should file the slots out to fit the 5mm keel of my model.”

“Super slow shipping, order was placed over 2 weeks ago and as far as I can tell, it's stuck in customs somewhere. Wouldn't have ordered at all had I known it would take so long. It wasn't clear until after checkout that the items were being shipped internationally. It hasn't arrived yet.”

“I wish you informed me of the price of shipping, the timing of delivery and that it was coming from Australia. I need the wood planks this week, so I have had to place another order with Model Expo for planks that are a bit larger and will require trimming to complete the model this week.”

“Bought the James Caird kit. Overpriced kit. Ridiculous piece identification “system” (crazy & inconsistent mix of letters & numbers, instructions use a DIFFERENT identification system, some parts not marked at all), flimsy construction, poor detail. Won’t be coming back.”
