“I received my blue egg laying Silkie chicks slightly early which was awesome! I picked them up from the post office and could hear them peeping in line all the way from the back office! They are vigorous chicks and though they are roughly a week + old now, I could not be happier. I have purchased chicks at feed stores and ended up with bio security issues but so far these chicks are very healthy and I plan to buy more in the future. Besides hatching your own, this is the best way to go.”

“I cannot say enough good about the order of Easter Chicks we received a week ago. There were six chics on the order and we recd all in excellent shape. When I went to the post office to pick them up I was pleased to hear the lady tell me she had been hearing the chirping in the back room. We are thinking of adding a couple of ducks before long. Thanks for the great order.”

“My Pet Chicken is a great business, I've successfully ordered many chicks for 15 years. The customer service people are all knowledgeable and very nice to talk to. I had a problem with the postal delivery, they never called me that the chicks were delivered and on my front porch as the shipping label clearly stated for them to do. I made a formal complaint to USPS.”

“I was really nervous about mail ordering chicks. I ordered 3 Easter egger chicks for the broody I couldn’t break. They came next day, peeping away and healthy. It was like opening a present! All 3 are different colors, and they bring me joy waddling along with the rest of my flock. Would definitely use this company again.”

“I love working with My Pet Chicken. Everyone is super friendly and helpful. I also love the wide variety of products and feel a lot better about supporting a small business. My local stores carry less and less of the products I want, but My Pet Chicken is constantly adding new stuff and everyone really knows the products and can help when I have questions.”

“I didn’t have any issues with my order. All chicks arrived healthy and the order process was very easy. Shipping was a little challenging as usps does not keep tracking info up to date so it was difficult to plan around. The chicks arrived the day after the tracking information said they would and no one was home. Fortunately I saw the very confused mailwoman drop a peeping box on the doorstep via security camera and a family member was able to stop by to put them in the brooder. Not my pet chicken’s fault but it’s helpful to know that when ordering chicks it’s good to have someone near the house every day during the week they’re supposed to arrive. You can’t rely on the tracking.”

While we are happy to hear that your little ones are doing well and arrived safely, we were a bit surprised that the chicks were delivered to your home as they are supposed to be held at the post office for you to pick them up to ensure their safety and health. Thankfully all turned out well! For any possible future orders, upon receiving the tracking number information, perhaps call your local post office and request that they not deliver any live birds to your residence but call you for pick up. If you ever have any questions or concerns, please feel free to reach out to us and we will always do our best to help!

“My Pet Chicken has an excellent assortment of breeds and low per breed minumums that make a colorful and diverse flock possible for the home chicken lover. While 4 of the 6 days olds I received had some issues with "pasting up" upon arrival, close observation and regular care cleared it up in a few days. My girls are a little over a week old and are growing and thriving beautifully!”

“From the moment I began this adventure of exploring the idea of raising chickens, MPC has been consistently by my side. Whether it's an article, an online chat, or a phone conversation, my questions have been answered thoroughly. The learning curve is steep, but I feel confident knowing I have support from your company to answer all my questions. As of today, my chicks have been here a week. They are thriving. They were peeping and active when I opened their transport box and they've continued to thrive. They are strong and sassy, curious and silly. It's been a blast seeing their personalities and even watching the pecking order sort itself out.”

“My first delivery was not a good one experience but it was replace with no problem I was very great fully with no problem , my second shipments was great just for one that it was to little and died but my other three are doing great. Thank you”

“This is my first time getting chickens and My Pet Chicken has made the process so smooth. I reached out to them to verify a chicken breed and they got back to me right away with a detailed and helpful response. I've already recommended them to my friend group! The chicks were shipped on Monday and I got a call from my local post office first thing Wednesday morning (Texas). All of the chicks were healthy and immediately started exploring their new digs, eating, and drinking. What a blessing they have been to our family already!”
