“The goods are generally great but I had a few planks that were “restored” with filings as there were probably damaged in the making. Also the product is very fragile so need to be handled with extra care especially during transportation or the corners could be easily damaged if the parcel is drop.”

Some of our planks have open knots as this is a natural part of a tree, which is why filling may have been used. “I like the idea of the product but not sure on the colour. It says it’s grey but it looks more brown .”

“The sample arrived in good time. The product wasn't quite what we were expecting. We're not sure whether the accoustic back would work in our bathroom (damp issues with felt-type backing) and the wood strips are only oak veneered, so again could be an issue in a bathroom setting. I'm sure it works well as an acoustic device in a non damp area.”

Hi Louise, Thank you for your 4-Star review despite your concerns about installing within a bathroom space. You can certainly install the SlatWall panels within a well-ventilated bathroom, so long as they are treated with an interior varnish beforehand and kept out of direct contact with water.
