I recieved the part in a remarkably short time...so top marks for that. However, the spindle that went through the centre of the part was broken rendering the part useless. As time was absolutely of the essence, I took the valve apart and removed the two neoprene seals and fitted them to my malfunctioning anti stall valve, which fortunately did the trick and got it back to functioning properly. However, if I'd needed the who valve that I'd ordered, I'd have had to send the broken part back to you and order another one...which would have been calamtous for me in the situation I was in...ie, waiting on the part so that I could complete the sale of my $50k yacht. As it was, the buyer had two other options he was looking at and was ready to buy one of the alternatives if I wasn't able to get my engine running.

Hi Mark, I’m really sorry to hear that you feel misled, and I completely understand that unexpected taxes and fees can be frustrating. We always aim to be as transparent as possible, which is why we mention potential import charges at checkout and throughout our website under the EU & International Delivery section. Unfortunately, as a UK-based business shipping worldwide, we don’t have control over the tax rates set by different countries or the fees charged by couriers for handling customs clearance. We never want our customers to feel misled, and I genuinely regret that this wasn’t clearer before your purchase. If you’d still like us to remove your account, I will pass this request on to our team. Please let me know if there’s anything else I can do to assist. Best regards, Gemma

Even though I ordered some parts I was very annoyed that they didn't bother to respond to my query so I am still none the wiser. When they messaged me again weeks later with a Newsletter I reminded them that I was disapointed that they couldn't be bothered to answer customer queries. I very much doubt there will be a response to this either. Value your customers

You didt tell me, that customspay and tax handling would be added. I have not received my order yet. I will order in my own country next time.

Hello, Per. We appreciate any and all feedback from our customers, so thank you for taking the time to do so. We completely understand how frustrating it is that there are import fees due on goods coming from the UK post Brexit and we apologise for the inconvenience. We do make a note upon checkout that orders going outside the UK will be subject to import customs & duties to try and keep our customers informed and maintain a transparent relationship. Again, very sorry for any confusion! - Jacq

Responsive but not very customer friendly. Order included shipping, but UPS charges additional shipping surcharge for EU customers which is required to be paid at delivery. This should be covered - or at least mentioned- during ordering process.

Hi Eelco, Thank you for the feedback, all feedback is very important to us. I completely understand your point of view in regards to the brokerage fees from UPS. I am in agreeance they are high but unfortunately we cannot bypass these as UPS is a separate company with their own policies. I have reached out to you previously explaining this in detail, but please note during the checkout procedure there is a banner at the top of the screen promoting our overseas customers to research the import duties before checking out. We are looking into opening an EU hub to bring these costs down for our overseas customers as we value you all as equally to our UK shoppers. We are hoping to get this underway in the future. Many apologies for frustration caused by UPS fees. - Gemma

The product arrived in good condition and seems to have quality, however next time i will buy it inside EU community. For a 20 euros spare part I payed 20 euros more in transportation and another 20 in import taxes and fees. It's crazy expensive. Would be great that parts4engines create a parallel company inside EU to avoid loosing customers.

Hi Ricardo, Thank you for leaving us this feedback, good or bad we appreciate it. Firstly, I am glad the parts for your D2-40 arrived in good condition, it is great to know the packing held up all the way to Portugal. However, I do completely understand the inconvenience of these high tariffs. Since Brexit importing from the UK has become an expensive venture, each country has it's own laws and % so it is difficult to include this within the pricing as it would prove had to be accurate and they are ever changing the costs. Please be assured our overseas customers are very important to us and we want to make the buying experience more cost effective and easy. We are currently looking into potentially a hub overseas to bring these costs down, but this will take time to put into action. We are very thankful for your business and we hope to supply you with parts again soon :))) - Gemma

The lift pump I received was very poorly made and unusable. I was disappointed that only a single paper gasket was included. Easily torn and lost as well. I do not think I will use parts 4 engines again.

Hi There, Oh No ! I am sorry to hear that you are not satisfied with the customs charges. I agree they are extremely frustrating and expensive. Since Brexit in the UK all import charges have made a dramatic increase. The % amount charges is set by every retrospective countries government in this case France. We have no influence over this amount and receive no part of it, UPS further add a sort of service fee on top of the VAT bill bumping the price up. We are working on ways to combat the high import fees to our overseas customers but we do recommend for shipments from the UK to EU countries choosing FedEx as your courier for EU destinations. FedEx includes Pre-Paid VAT in their shipping prices, ensuring that no additional fees are incurred at French customs. In contrast, couriers like UPS and DHL do not include Pre-Paid VAT and may charge an administrative/service fee for collecting the VAT, which will be added to the overall cost. I hope this helps and thank you for shopping with us :))- Gemma

The goods are ok. But very bad experience with UPS: - 10 E-Mails with absolutely unreliable delivery date announcement but the delivery postponement without any comment. I spent 3/4 day days at home to get the delivery. They demand 20€ handlings fee for customs clearance. To be clear: It's only the payment via bank transfer in advance. It would have been better not to order by parts4engines.

Thanks for taking the time to give us a review, all feedback is appreciated. We understand that shipping can be frustrating at times and are sorry to see that you had a negative experience. We would hope to save you the hassle in the future by dealing with the courier directly and keep you updated along the way. I can see that you chose UPS as your courier but for shipments from the UK to EU countries, VAT will always be charged according to the rate set by the destination country. During the checkout process, we suggest choosing FedEx as your courier for EU destinations. Best, Jacq

I have been pleased with the service in the past but the parts I just received are inferior to the point of being unusable.

Hi There Sir, I have dealt with your case from your first initial email. Firstly, thank you for reaching out to us and giving us the feedback, good and bad helps us improve. I escalated this to our director and he went into our warehouse and grabbed all the seals we had for a quality inspection. He was in agreeance with you that the seals were not up to scratch and we are currently looking for a better quality seal from a different supplier. I trust that his offer of a compensation was okay and we will ensure this doesn't occur again the future. Thank you for you previous returning business with us and we apologise this time we didn't live up to our usual standards. - Gemma
