“Overall has been a okay experience. Not being able to choose an appointment time was very frustrating in trying to plan my time. Not to mention, not receiving any communication in confirming the appointment time.”

“Originally spoke with gentlemen over the phone to arrange survey who asked for any areas of concern. Two points were highlighted for attention and I was advised they would be passed onto the surveyor to ensure they were looked at. Upon receiving the report the 2 areas were not referenced. Speaking to the surveyor directly once the report was finalised he advised he was never given the points to look at. Appears poor communication may have been the issue. With this in mind the report only really told me what I already knew on the property and I could have saved myself a good amount of money.”

“All seemed well and I had my appointment booked. My appointment was for between 8 and 9 and after waiting till just after 9am I get a call advising the surveyor has called in sick and we need to re book. Slightly annoyed at this last minute decision to contact me given my shifts for work mean I had to make sure I was awake especially for this time. Further appointment booked for the day after, the surveyor did attend this appointment, nor myself or my partner can quite understand why, knowing our sale price is 270k to price our HTB valuation at 275k meaning we have to pay more as a result. I can only assume the surveyor gets a little more commission. In short, I’ve had some of my time wasted and been made to pay an extra £1000 for seemingly no reason, all as a result of using pinnacle surveyors. Not overly impressed I’m afraid.”

“The surveyor was great. Had a good 30 min debrief. The company itself (I guess they subcontract the actual work) work not so good.. I had to keep chasing to make payment and even get my quote!”
