“We have been using Salters (as it was then) for 30 or so years. We still come to Aldeburgh 3 or 4 times a year and always take something home from you. Delighted you are able to deliver all the way to sunny Chislehurst for Christmas! Rib of beef and pigs in blankets eaten Boxing Day - really good. The rest of the order is in the freezer to be enjoyed in January. Many thanks and best regards.”

“We ordered the Turkey Breast Butterfly as we had one last year and it was delicious! And this year’s was equally delicious, tender, succulent and full of flavour. Delivery was also great, we would highly recommend Salter & King.”

“Easy to order, delivered on time. Very good black turkey, lots of taste. Giblets were included. The bird was solid meat not full of water like mass produced animals. Highly recommend this butcher.”

“Excellent service - always made very welcome in the shop. A great selection of meats and cuts - lots to choose from and always of the highest quality. Gerard and staff go out of their way to be helpful. Recent highlights - beautiful piece of salt beef which cooked a treat and a delicious meat and veg pie.”

“I can't give you a full review as unfortunately the delivery, due 19th Dec, actually arrived near the end of the day on the 22nd. The box was damaged and at lkeast one of the packs had been damaged as there was blood seeping into thesurrounding cool bag. I had to throw everything into the fast freezer I have and hope I've stopped further contamination. I did sort out the chopped rabbit”

“Our butcher retired after manyyears and we liked the look of this one and so glad we did .easy to order excellent meat ,bacon and sausage to die for.easy to buy on line,delivered and packed very well.very good value for money ,so all good.”
