“I have only recently started using Salter & King and I have to say everything I have bought has been top quality and their Chuck steak is fantastic for making smash burgers! There was a slight issue with my last order due to the bank holiday but Will sorted it out straight away without any fuss. Great locally sourced meat. A credit to Suffolk and Suffolk farmers.”

“The best ham we have ever tasted! Had a buffet lunch for a group of friends and the first thing to disappear from the table was the ham. Sliced it thinly with my meat slicer and it was seriously delicious. The porchetta is still in my freezer waiting for the Aga to be relit in the autumn.”

“I confess I’ve only used the beef mince so far (the rest of my meat box is in the freezer. But it’s made a really amazing ragu with a great depth of flavour. I’m now planning to use the dripping (not eaten it since I was a kid, on white bread with salt, to made some pastry. Cannot wait to work my way through the rest of the box contents..”

“Website was easy to navigate. Good selection of products available. Ordering was easy and delivery was prompt. Also received a very nice thank you card from the proprietor on delivery, which was a nice welcoming touch. I ordered diced Mutton for an italian slow cooked stew i was making. It was delicious . A more full flavoured change from lamb. Will be ordering again.”

“My first order of feather blade beef I used for braising & was excellent in both flavour & tenderness. I still have enough left over for my family favourite of steak pie which I will be using once this hot weather has dropped a little. I will be stocking up for more of this beef as I use braising beef for pasties & pies. I have already passed your name on to my daughter & she will be ordering soon. My chosen delivery day was adhered to & all in all my first experience ordering from Salter & King was first class & I will be ordering from them in future.”
