“I’ve had a few orders from Scents soap and candles and the products have always been good quality and the website is very helpful. However I have a couple of gripes, firstly the delivery cost is very expensive and even when I’ve spent nearly £100 I’m still charged for delivery. Secondly, when I ordered 24 Karen candle holders and 24 lids I made a mistake and ordered the 20cl candle holders and 30cl lids. It would have been excellent customer service if you had contacted me to confirm if my order was correct. Now I will have to order more lids and holders to fit the different sizes which will cost me a lot more money. I could return them but as it was my mistake I would have to pay delivery again. So a lose lose situation for me! Think I will shop elsewhere!”

Hi Fiona, Thank you for your review. We are sorry that you made an error when ordering. Unfortunately, we are unable to check that every order is correct as it would take far too much time. I am sure that you can still make some great candles with the containers! With the shipping, because items are so heavy they are expensive to ship. We are one of the cheapest in the industry, and even offer free shipping to customers that buy small amounts of fragrance oils from us. Have a great Christmas SSC

“I have purchased from yourselves before and been very happy however the reed diffuser bottles were very disappointing. The colour is nothing like the picture and they should be classed as very pale grey also the seam lines on the bottles stand out, I will not be using them.”

“I order 1kg every month and this month I wanted to order 5kg but it wasn't in so I had to order 5x 1kg bags and it cost me £6 more also I paid £7 postage when jt should only be £6”

“Even though i rate all the other products i purchased a 10/10 unfortunately the Daisy fragrance oil smells nothing like the perfume which i am gutted about :( I had orders for this fragrance and i feel it isnt good enough to give to my customers. Everything else is spot on”

Hi, thank you for the feedback. We believe our Daisy fragrance oil is a close match as we have compared it to the original purfume. No dupe will ever be exactly the same and we don't recommend judging solely from the smell out of the bottle. The formula for the fragrance oil hasn't changed between your multiple purchases of it. Hi Eleanor, I'm sorry that you didn't like the speed of your parcel. As it was ordered on a bank holiday, our staff were at home having a well earned rest and DPD were not collecting any parcels. As a result, your parcel was sent out the day we resumed working.

“I bought a gift box. They said on the website it would be in a white box as they'd run out of decorative boxes. The individual pieces arrived in a brown parcel box. A little disappointed as it was a present.”

“First time buying from this company... Was very disappointed with the smell of 'Apple Spice' It's smells rather more like sickly sweet cookies... and nothing like apple or spice... The lavender smells okay and the black cherry is nice. Also the bottles are solid white so you cannot see how much you have used very easily... I would have thought clear or more opaque bottles would be more handy... heyho...”
