“I was very disappointed that the 20kg of wax I bought this time was all loose and I needed to divide it myself and that I requested 2 samples of new fragrance oils and they were not in my parcel with no explanation why”

“A couple of things I would like to mention.. I ordered the lost cherry fragrance oil which is unrelatsblecgobthe fragrance dupe, but great if you like the smell of cherries. (I don’t). The Oud fragrance is okay but have purchased better elsewhere. I emailed a few times trying to establish when the candle wax would be restocked but had no response, nor from the phone number on correspondence. On a positive note there are fragrances I have bought on repeat which are lovely, and no doubt I will be purchasing them again.”

“Nice quality products. I enjoy making my candles but making money from it is almost impossible due to the high purchasing costs. It would be nice if there was a fragrance tester kit, so that I didn’t have to keep spending a lot on fragrances to find out if they are suitable. Perhaps a kit that could be purchased made up of small wax melts with various fragrances as it would be nice to try some first. Perhaps various themed smell like flowers, perfumes, Christmas or a multi pack of various.”

“Ordering experience was OK albeit checkout stage kept crashing and not displaying on mobile. Products seem OK. Fragrance has always been decent. CB Advanced wax 8 out of 10 compared to previous supplier of it Melt wax not tested yet. Ordered over 250 GBP of product and requested a nominal amount back on delivery as the delivery fee was extortionate. Equated to about 1% I asked for back on a large order. Was refused and told no more could be fit in the wax boxes (I fit the 1 x fragrance oil in the wax box no issue when testing). Therefore was charged additional shipping on top of the already large shipping fee for the wax.”

“Delivery prompt and as ordered so no issue at all with scents, Soaps and candles. Packaging also looked ok, but one bottle smashed. Delivery people I guess didn’t spot the massive ‘fragile’ sticker!”

“Hi, delivery was good, but the bungs and caps I ordered for 200ml diffuser bottles, didn’t fit, not sure what containers they are used for. I will be keeping them and look into see what containers they may fit.”

Hi Pam, thank you for your order. I am not sure where you ordered your diffuser caps or bungs from with only the 200ml bottles being ordered from us. However, if you are looking for some to caps to fit the bottles you purchased, our diffuser caps and bungs are all designed with the same screw to fit all of our diffuser bottles. - SSC

“Bottle arrived with no safety lid seal of any kind as if it had been opened, and because it’s plastic, it had been squished in shipping and a substantial amount had leaked in the padded packaging envelope. Poorly designed opening for the purpose; it’s very difficult to pour out a smaller quantity fit for products without most of the oil pouring down the side of the bottle so I’ve got half the bottle on my work surfaces and floor. On the upside, my room smells great. Other than that, smells very similar to the original la vie est belle. I’ve made a soy candle, body lotion, room spray, and drawer sachets and they all smell/feel great. I haven’t lit the candle yet to test the oil in the wax but it smells good.”

“I ordered items that could easily have been put in a padded envelope yet were sent in a box which I had to collect from the sorting office, where there is no free parking!”

Hi Akilah, Unfortunately, the wicks will snap if they are forced in an envelope when there are too many in one order. Because of this we like to box them. Royal Mail will always attempt to deliver to your house first. Kind regards Lucy

“Products are good for the little I have used for far but I thick delivery could be cheaper especially on a good orders, people like to feel that they are getting a bargain.”

Hi, thank you for your review. We currently offer free shipping when £55 or more of fragrances are purchased. Unfortunately, the shipping prices can't be altered as they are calculated by the delivery companies and we already subsidize a portion of the price.
