“FRAUDULENT SCAM ARTISTS. Do not deal with this company, they are a total waste of space, they have had over ÂŁ1000 since 29th April, and still awaiting the doors ordered, but they have a hold on the order / account and refuse to tell me why or when it will be removed. They also lied about the reason for the late delivery. They advertise 5 - 10 day turnaround, after 15 days i phoned them to be told it was due to driver shortages. It turns out the doors are NOT delivered by them, SO THEY DONT KNOW ABOUT THE ACTUAL DELIVERY DRIVER PROBLEMS. They LIED to me. I have been in contact with XL joinery, where the doors will be coming from, they are in stock, but waiting for this shower to take the hold off. They wont phone me back, and I have now requested a full REFUND, BUT SURPRISE SURPRISE, nothing heard back from them. Next step - Small Claims Court and reporting to Trading Standards.”
“Worst company I have ever dealt with! I Placed an order over 5 weeks ago and was told to expect delivery within 5-7 days. Over 30 attempts to reach them by phone with no answer, and multiple emails to which I have received no reply. I have now emailed asking for a full refund. If I don't receive a full refund within the next 5 days I'll take the claim to the small claims court.
If a refund isn't received I'll also be adding John Paul Rowe (director) address and contact details to this review to aid anyone else who is utterly peed off with being ignored/fobbed off. I'm sure his wife will be really chuffed.
Hilarious that JW Hardware has written a 5 star review for this company on Google when JW Hardware is also owned by John Paul Rowe and is based at the same business address in Middlesborough - pretty much sums-up these cowboys - WHAT A JOKE

Worst company I have dealt with lie after lie I’m now having to get the ombudsman involved to retrieve my ÂŁ710 that they have had since April 6th,last lie was only last week when I was told someone from their finance department would contact me that week the same lies I was told about various delivery dates.Take it from me avoid this company at all costs .”

Purchased a door. Got a call the following week saying the door was 'out of stock' despite it being shown 'in stock' on the website(even now). SDS said they would send my refund immediately. They did not.
Tried calling to chase it up, the number listed on the site and the number listed on the email confirmation didn't work.
Tried online contact, the person said "I have to go to a meeting, will look at this later".
So I emailed. Nothing back yet...
Wasted my time and now won't give back my money.”
“SEVEN false delivery dates including being told from the owner regarding my order, “ we are about to let transport take it at 5pm ;-)”, when in reality in my case they don’t even keep stock of the doors & rely on the manufacturer to deliver. I know as I’ve spoken with the manufacturer about my order. Deliberate lies designed to time waste. 4 weeks after this lie from the owner, still my order hasn’t been delivered.
I asked sethcodoors via their website chat before I placed my order about the delivery timeframe and was assured it’d be around a week from order.
Had to instruct the owner THREE times to cancel my order before he agreed to. (Like he has a choice!)
I have all email correspondence to prove everything stated here.
It’s now been EIGHT days since the owner said he’d refund me, still no refund of my £645.88.
SIX weeks of time wasting & dishonesty from sethcodoors and all for nothing but to anger customers and get reviews like this.

“Ordered doors ÂŁ2590, they promised to deliver them on three dates though didn’t turn up. Contacted manufacturer who said they had never been paid so wouldn’t be posting them out, they instructed Sethcodoorstore to remove their products from website. No refund given and no doors. Charge back facility used via my bank and money returned after two months. DON’T TAKE THE RISK, DO NOT USE THIS HORRIBLE COMPANY”
“Shopping online for a number of oak doors, found Sethcodoorstore via an online search. We bought 11 doors mixed sizes, we needed the doors to be held back for delivery due to a number of people working on our home renovation, this was no problem. We then arranged a date for delivery. This was booked in a couple of days beforehand which was helpful. They are all now installed and look ace!!! I noticed at the time they sold some nice oak furniture, I went back online last week to purchase a tv unit. Delivered today and in ready to watch the footy tonight. Thanks sethco for a great deal and great service”
