“Just to add to the plethora of negative reviews. This company are quite simply the worst company I have ever dealt with. Do not even consider in the slightest whether to buy from them.
I have sent I’m excess of 25 emails and have called 4 times to try and get the items I have paid for. The owner, John Paul Lowe, will make promises he doesn’t deliver on.
Be warned, if you buy from Sethco then be prepared for a very bumpy ride!

Trying to claim back from my credit card as have placed an order with another supplier. Failing my refund will definitely take them to small claims court. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS BUNCH OF COWBOYS”

“Do not use this business. I orderd a Julian Bowen table from them in mid Oct for delivery 2 weeks later. I never received confirmation and the table never arrrived. After many emails letter and sporadic communication (their phone lines are rarely ever picked up and they rarely respond to emails), I finally heard back when I asked my bank to reverse the transacttion. Despite cancelling the order and numerous requests for a refund they now insist on delivering the table in Dec that I have since purchased on Amazon. STAY AWAY!!!”

They refuse to correspond with me and are refusing to refund my money. They are forcing me to issue County Court proceedings to recover the debt. “Absolutely terrible company it is now September and since may I did not receive goods or refund I sent numerous emails , not responded to and several telephone calls and staff were just rude , the payments didn’t once get back to me as promised and I had to go to trading standards and then received refund but it still hasn’t reached me I emailed after ringing my bank as it hadn’t arrived and they said get an arn number and I emailed and again completely ignored , nothing back , it is the worst customer service I have experienced ever and the worst purchase experience ever , I wound not recommend this company to anyone , it is truly awful !! Still waiting and I have to I will go down the legal route as a matter of principal .”
“I placed an order on 19/03/22 for £972. After placing the order I received an email on 21/03/22 telling me my items aren't in stock till AFTER 10th May. Fast forward to 21/04/22 i recieved yet ANOTHER email stating my door will not be in stock until the beginning of July.
I have been without doors in my new house for months now!! I was told over 4 weeks ago one of your team will be contacting me but of course, they didnt!!
There is NO way to contact anyone, no one answers phones or emails and I have travelled up to the address that is given and are no longer in the same unit! All sounds abit dodgy to me.

Almost three months on and we still have no doors. What we have had, however, is one fob off after the next.
1) The doors are being help at customs
2) They've had a system failure
3) There was a problem with the order
We were down to the dregs of our refurb funds and this purchase was really important to us. As such we've been left with no doors on rooms and are £800 out of pocket.
We have requested a refund which has apparently been 'approved' by the company but we're still waiting for the money to be returned.
The phone just rings out. This is not a company. It's a complete scam being run by one guy who clearly has no business integrity. AVOID at all costs to prevent your hard earned cash being thrown down the drain.”
“Do not use this company. Ordered, money taken very quickly and efficiently. I personally kept a check on my doors being in stock by contacting every few days. First occasion one was out until a given date, I checked a few days before given date and was then told they are out without a date. I immediately cancelled as we had a pretty strict deadline having a builder onsite - our issue not the company I might add. 1st July I asked for cancellation and refund, yes no problem. After chasing for over 25 days I then got confirmation that it had been cancelled/refunded. 12 days after the 25 days I had still not received my refund so luckily i had paid on credit card, I contacted my bank who within 24 hours had refunded me and are now investigating. I think this company is trying to be a big company but are just not ready for that yet. Will never use again nor recommend.”

Disgraceful customer service. I placed my
order On 25th May 22 at a cost off £1,258
for 2 doors order number 25181. On one
occasion I spoke to a man who said l'd
receive a text to arrange delivery... it never
happened… Chloe also told me this. I have
made in the region of 70 calls 4 were
answered. Numerous emails sent. Karen
said systems were down. Chloe said my
doors would be delivered in June. I spoke
to her on Monday she promised to call me
back ... and didn't. Now Sandra says she
hasn't been able to speak to a director. I
wonder if this is all the same person using
different names. Like other reviews I'm told
my doors are in stock but due to courier
service haven't been delivered. I can only
think this is a scam. My request for a
refund thus far ignored! I personally will
take this further in the event this is a rip off.”
“FRAUDULENT SCAM ARTISTS. Do not deal with this company, they are a total waste of space, they have had over £1000 since 29th April, and still awaiting the doors ordered, but they have a hold on the order / account and refuse to tell me why or when it will be removed. They also lied about the reason for the late delivery. They advertise 5 - 10 day turnaround, after 15 days i phoned them to be told it was due to driver shortages. It turns out the doors are NOT delivered by them, SO THEY DONT KNOW ABOUT THE ACTUAL DELIVERY DRIVER PROBLEMS. They LIED to me. I have been in contact with XL joinery, where the doors will be coming from, they are in stock, but waiting for this shower to take the hold off. They wont phone me back, and I have now requested a full REFUND, BUT SURPRISE SURPRISE, nothing heard back from them. Next step - Small Claims Court and reporting to Trading Standards.”
