“The heater was delivered very promptly and its compact size is just what I want for my small lounge. The problem is that it only lights very intermittently. I followed the instructions for ignition very precisely, but if I hold the control knob down for the full 30 seconds the flame roars upwards and the panel doesn't ignite. If I hold it down for about 20 seconds the panel ignites, but then very often goes out as soon as I release the control knob (I hold it down after lighting for a while, as instructed). I have only lit it successfully a couple of times. I was told that the problem was with the gas cylinder, which was overfilled gas and the mix too rich. I phoned up Calor Gas, couldn't reach a human being, but was redirected by a recorded voice to a Calor Gas provider near me. However, they hadn't heard of overfilled cylinders, didn't know what to do about it and referred me back to the small shop where I bought the cylinder. They have already changed my gas cylinder once. Round in circles!”

“I ordered late on a Thursday evening and was promised 'next working day delivery' so expected to receive my product on the following Monday as there seemed no chance it would be dispatched in time to turn up any sooner and I was fine with that. To my surprise my order was delivered on Saturday morning! Can't argue with that at all given I couldn't find the product cheaper anywhere else and postage was included in the price. :-) Very happy with the service received.”

“Fantastic customer service - I wasn't expecting a response, but messaged Socal on FB, on the day after Boxing Day (a Sunday) - I got an instant response from a real person, and my query answered. Due to the Christmas holidays, I was not expecting a quick delivery. But it was boxed up and shipped the next day. Will definitely be ordering again.”
