“We were approached by a vendor offering solar power financed solely by the power bill savings. The sales pitch was so convincing only an idiot would refuse. Luckily the cooling off period allowed me to compare the package offered with three options from Solarquotes recommended vendors - these were 30-50% of the 0% finance option, for superior quality systems that were clearly documented & backed with performance warranties. “Solar quotes did arrange three credible quotes for an EV charger. In the end, I decided on an EV charger from EVNEX, a NZ company that has recently entered the market and is offering a $500 discount for an installed 7.4kW charger for a limited time. This charger can be programmed to use excess solar generation to charge the EV.”

“Using SolarQuotes I got three quotes. I also attained three more quotes from other sources therefore ending up with 6 quotes. The three quotes I got myself used high pressure sales and high profits. One large company tried to steer me in a new direction wanting to dc couple and change inverters, (when I wanted to AC couple to our existing setup), as it fitted his agenda!
The three quotes I got through SolarQuotes were by far the more reasonable prices, sales people had more precise knowledge and didn’t spin bull. The company I chose was ‘All Green Environmental Solutions’. Battery will be fitted in January.
