“These bracelets (which I have ordered a few of over the years) only last about a year before they need replacing because the writing fades. Also it would be good if you did a slightly larger size as well.”

We are sorry to hear you're disappointed with the quality of the ID band. The writing on the ID Band you have ordered is engraved into the silicone using a laser not stuck on. There is a white panel on the band, we then use a laser to essentially cut through this white layer and reveal the coloured layer beneath, making the writing clear and easy to read.
Thank you for your 3-star review, Gemma! The standard length of the bracelet is 8.5 inches (21.6cm) or it can be shortened to 8 inches (20.3cm) by removing one of the clasps.

We did not make a spelling mistake as we do not change any spelling. Our machines are automated so what ever text the customer enters to be engraved when they place the order online is engraved exactly as they entered.
“Arrived on time and light weight. That’s the only positive side . The engraving behind is too small, you need a magnifying glass to read them. Tricky part is to find how to open the bracelet to read on emergency. It’s a fancy jewellery but for a medical alert, I will go for a band where it’s easier to view the message rather than this expensive one.”
“Pretty looking bracelet ,nice colour ,however on this one the clasp attaches directly into the engraved tag and it is impossible to do so o your own .Sadly the clasp scratches the tag .Their should be another ring attached to the tag then you can clasp it together
I will now have to sort that being done .Shame as my previous silver one had the extra ring .”

We're sorry to hear that the band was too big, the size you ordered was XL which is the largest size we do. We do advise customers measure their wrist and check what size is needed before placing any orders.

Hi Gerard, we're sorry to see that you have given us 3 stars. The fastening on this band is on the side as shown in the product images. There would be nowhere else to put the fastening.
To fasten the bracelet you just need to put the stud through the pre-made holes, a bit like a watch strap. If you are having difficulty with this please contact custserv@theidbandco.com who will be happy to create a video showing how it fastens and send it to you.

Dear Barry, we are sorry to hear our 'Deluxe Engravable Silicone BROAD BAND' is too wide for you, this band is 18mm wide as stated in the item description. We do also sell this style band in a thinner version which is 12mm wide which you may prefer, this is called the 'Deluxe Engravable Silicone Bracelet (inside engraving)'.
“The quality of the bracelet itself is high and I’m impressed. The problem is I have had it around 2 weeks and the engraving is coming off. That’s the whole reason to have the engraving on it in the first place. Sad to say if I can return it I will be. Not posting a photo due to name and number of my emergency contact.”

“My idea of engraving is using a tool to cut into the metal? This is not the case, it looks like a transfer print. They say they use a special technique, what technique is that then?
