I I paid extra for checked baggage but one of my tickets (booked by trip.com) doesn’t include checked bags as I have double checked with the airline and trip.com have booked an economy light ticket with no checked bags that I paid extra for. I just keep getting AI messages or customer service people on chat who just keep saying it is being looked into then send me the same message that my ticket includes baggage when it does not The customer service is rubbish. Impossible to speak to anyone and have wasted hours now trying to sort it out.

My experience is that if the airline changes a flight to a time that is not convenient, the airline will only do the refund through trip.com, and then you’re dealing with a non-English speaking Filipino and your personal data is run through the Philippines. And worse, they don’t wanna communicate by email. They will only allow you to upload data and send it to them. It’s a very one-way customer relationship.

I bought baggage allowance for my roundtrip but it didn’t show on the airline checkin. My airline suggested I have to contact trip.com. After chatting with agent, she couldn’t fix it. So her manager called and claimed that the additional baggage allowance applied to my return flight even though the fee applied on the round trip booking. She said her IT department will investigate it to see if she could reimburse my extra fee paid directly to the airline. This is a huge hassle for my flight. The system wasn’t reliable and customer service took a long time. Not impressed!!

I have made reservation from Trip.com for 7 seats vehicle with full insurance, the car agent was AVIS the famous company, but unfortunately once I arrived there office in the Trabzon airport terminal, they told me 7 seat vehicle not available and the full insurance not applicable, since the full insurance payment should make from the AVIS office not through website, and they offer me 9 seats which is not comfortable to me and I told him this type model is long vehicle, after long discussion I don’t have other option they force me to accept this vehicle with 9 seats, honestly it’s was brand new with full options and panorama view but I am suffering with two things, first it’s long vehicle not easy to find parking and you need to be careful when you are driving with full tension, second thing doesn’t have CarPlay for iPhone mobile. I don’t know whom to mistake the third party (Trip.com) or the car agent (AVIS). I believe the AVIS On purpose they make this drama to force you to make direct reservation through his website site or his application. Because I observed the employee telling the customers make a reservation through our website or the application because currently we don’t have car rent available and the rent car will be available by tomorrow 🤔.
